This place has low prices but the food, ingredients, and customer service are low quality. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are DIRTY, outdated and sloppy. They use styrofoam containers, which are bad for the environment, and their customers LITTER the parking lot with trash. Because they open late, they attract gang activity.

Different name, same owner, not the same food! I have been eating at Alerto’s for years now. I came by to give it a try after they changed ownership and the food definitely does not taste the same anymore. I ordered a full order of their adobo fries which use to be able to feed about 3 people. Now it isn’t big at all. Their hot sauce is watery and isn’t spicy at all. It’s like lime water. I’m so sad that Alerto’s is no more. I’m now on the hunt for a new Mexican place to eat.

Nothing fancy, but it is filling and the portions are pretty big. Prices are cheap, the store run down but clean, they also have a drive through option. Not the best salsa, not a huge fan of their tortillas either, burritos better than tacos, value and taste wise. The al pastor is the best meat here and while it did fill us up, nothing good enough to bother to return here.

I actually really like this place! I always order the pollo asado half fries and the fries come out to be crispy and the chicken is juicy and grilled. Their ingredients taste fresh and they sure know how to cook up some burritos too. I’ve yet to experience any dissatisfaction with customer service so I come almost once a month!

this used to be Alertos. AVOID! they skimp on the toppings. i order a super nacho and it was mostly 90% chips and 10% toppings. Alertos used to hook it up with a lot of meats.

bought a burrito to go and they only gave 1 hot sauce? Why are thy so stingy on it. hate how they get stingier every time. I need atleast 5 and they usually give 2 – 3. This time only 1? Ha, ain’t coming back.

This used to my favorite Mexican spot in my teen years. After a night out all you want to do is shove some food in your mouth. Lol after I discovered what great authentic and quality Mexican food now. Sabrosada aka Alertos is cheap and low quality greasy food. I hate the fact the spicy salsa is not even spicy. They charge you for jalepanos but always forget to put the the jalepanos in the bag. There’s so many Mexican restaurant that’s better than Sabrosada. Step your game!!! New name, same owner, same low quality junk!!!

Different name, but the food is still delicious. The burritos and carne asada fries are soooo good! Also, the service is really good and everything is served promptly.

I asked for no beans for mine, and when I opened it at home, there was beans in it. It really ruined the whole taste for me…

The employees at the drive thru have a tendency of forgetting to add jalapeños & carrots! This happened to me multiple times and I would literally have to go in and tell them –_– it’s just unnecessary. Check your bag before you leave the drive thru! They charge for jalapeños, it’s literally on the receipt. I don’t know how they’re able to «forget» every time!!!

holy crap that was horrible!!! i came in here and ordered food, my meal was the carne asada plate. that was the most pathetic steak i have ever eaten, it seemed as though they ran out of steak so they went to the liqour store and bought some beef jerky strips and splashed some water on them. the only thing is that i think that calling it beef jerky is and insult to beef jerky. at least beef jerky has flavor, this was horrible, honestly it tasted old, cold, and like they were serving me yesterdays steak. with the other food that was ordered i think we spent about 30 bucks, i cant believe this place is opened, and that they have other spots! taco bell is more flavorful and authentic than this insult to mexican food!!!

The only thing worth eating here are their carne asada fries which are surprisingly delicious. The meat is flavorful and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately the rest of the menu is DISGUSTING the enchilada which is packed with poor quality cheese and drowned in canned enchilada sauce was highly disappointing and greasy, their beef hard taco tasted burnt and the oil tasted old, there soft taco plate that comes with the rice and bean sides was pathetic. The pico de gallo and guac was at the bottom of the taco with the meat sprinkled on top that not the way a taco is made. I tried this place a few times hoping my mind would be changed but i made up my mind and I’ll only come here for the asada fries. The red salsa they provide is not even salsa its like tomato juice no flavor or spice. I don’t know why this place is considered Mexican food its embarrassing. This is low end cheap quality food. They use the cheapest ingredients just so they can sell it for a lower price.

I love this Mexican food place! I always order the chicken fajita burrito and add rice. I love how every single time I eat here the staff is nice and the food is fresh and hot! :) This is my favorite fast food place.

Hi! My friend and I go there for the Chicken enchiladas. We get them with green sauce and sour cream and they are the best! My friend is definitely addicted. I’ve tried some other items but I always go back to the enchiladas! The horchata is the best I’ve ever had! And I lived in Santa Anna for 15 years.

This used to be alertos — I was surprised when I pulled up and it looked completely different, but there was also a sign that said new name, same owner. I just come here for the carne asada fries — the portions are massive and filling, even for a half order. Sauce is kind of lacking, so I always bring it home and add tapatio. Anyways — the food tastes the same. Can’t tell the difference between now & before the name change.

Food still fine. There’s no difference between Alertos and Sabrosada. I’ve been enough time to both places to know. Don’t start with the hipster sh*t, «It was better when blah blah blah». Update: it’s been a few trips in and the breakfast burritos still slaying. Just add the sliced avocado, not guacamole. I never liked the salsas, even from Alertos, I use Sriracha nice I get t home. Cheap tacos are still a good deal, 2 of them satisfy a moderate hunger. Half order of al pastor fries, no pico are awesome.

The food and hot sauce is not the same! My family and I stopped by here today to pick up some lunch the hot sauce & food is different from Alertos. Why do you call it hot sauce when is not even spicy/hot??? The mini tacos was not good, the chicken quesadilla was the worst. It was so greasy and soggy. Taco Bell makes better quesadilla and tacos. For the rest of the food that we order belongs to my husband and oldest daughter. I didn’t get to taste it but when I asked, «How was it?» They replied,” Let’s not go there anymore.“ Here is a picture of our soggy and nasty quesadilla. I threw the rest of the other food away so was not able to take more pictures…

Don’t know if the name change did anything; the food here is still fantastic! Highly recommend the Steak Quesadilla and/or the Carne Asada fries! The workers often are unable to understand you but that doesn’t stop them from pumping out food straight outta heaven!

This establishment used to be called«Alerto’s», and now claims to be under same ownership, but new name. I don’t know what the heck they’ve done to their food; if that’s so?! The food is terrible! My boyfriend and I, got very sick soon after we ate from here. Also, the quantity is way less now. The new name change is bad and the quality and quantity of food is HORRIBLE!

This used to be called Alertos. I love eating here when I am in need of comfort food. The establishment is small, but they have a drive thru, and OPENSLATE(except Friday & Saturday)! I definitely love their breakfast burrito. It’s massive and filling with potatoes, ham, eggs, and cheese. Their fish burrito is also good, although I don’t get it often. I prefer it over the carne asada burrito when I don’t want a lot of meat. Their carne asada nachos is divine! Fresh nacho chips underneath carne asada, beans, and guac! Also very filling! And finally, everyone loves their Horchata drink(my boyfriend included) but I’m a fan of their pineapple drink! Don’t forget to grab their loyalty rewards card! This is honestly one of my favorite places to go to.
