Service could be a little friendlier… …baguette was toasted nicely, though watching the older lady prep the chicken was kinda odd. She smelt it to make sure it hadn’t spoiled yet then grabbed a handful and tossed it into the microwave. m’kay… …sandwich was OK but missing the traditional shredded pickled carrot and daikon? normally in Viet sandwiches. The bread was nice crispy toasted and the highly sought thin baguette type. At $ 3.75 each, sandwich is just OK compared to my current staple from THH sandwiches which I like better. With service like that it’s harder to like this place. A bit hard to find also as they are located in the same shopping center as Thanh My Restaurant albeit in the back corner of the strip mall.

The cheesesteak is great — wasn’t expecting this at a Viet sandwich shop, but definitely a welcomed surprise. The wait is a bit longer than normal, but they make everything fresh to order. I call ahead before picking up!

I ordered my breakfast a Fried egg sandwich which was always good as it should be. I never have«banh mi opla» anywhere else rather than Sasha Deli. The banh mi was made«fresh to order» not like some other places using cold, tasteless pre-made eggs. The bread was crunchy outside and fluffy inside. Sasha Deli is definitely on my list.

I LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE the banh mi from this place! Whenever I crave banh mi… I would go here. The cheesesteak banh mi is SOOOOGOOD! The meat is tender and just melts in your mouth! I also love the cha and pâté sandwich but what makes it even MORE yummy is I ask them to add eggs in it! I would recommend this place for anyone who loves banh mi! :3

I was in the area and was so thirsty so gave this place a try. The place is very small with a couple of tables and chairs. There were several guys playing cards and I didn’t see anybody at the counter. As I started walking to the counter, I noticed one of the guys got up and started walking away from the game and walk towards the counter, so I’m assuming he’s the owner or worker. I thought that was strange but oh wells. This place offers assorted cold plate with eggs and baguette, snacks, banh mi and drinks. Since I was thirsty I ordered the fresh kumquat slush and it was pretty good. As soon as the guy was done with making the drink and hand it to me he then couldn’t wait to get back to his game. I would come back for their fresh kumquat slush when I’m in the area.

Ever since my sister recommended this place to me, I’ve been their frequent customer. I like their«dac biet» banh mi but I basically tried all of their options including the cheesesteak banh mi. The place is small and nestled in a corner inside Bolsa Mini Mall. They have no AC inside so it was like walking into an oven for me the last time I was there… which was just last weekend. I havent tried their kumquat drink yet but you betcha I will very soon…=)

Wth… I come in to buy a drink, four guys sitting there said; we’re closed. I ask if I can buy a drink, they said sure so I picked one and ask can u put ice in it. He said sorry I don’t know how to do that. Wtf? So no drink for me.

We come here almost every Sunday after bbh for cappuccino and kumquat slushie. Haven’t had their sandwiches yet but heard good things about it so will definitely try next time. It is a MUST to try their kumquat slushie. So sweet and tangyyyy just like how I like it!

The baguette was delicious! Great bread to filling ratio. I got the steamed rolled pork Banh mi and I’m obsessed.

great cheesesteak sandwich… surprisingly. banh mi dac biet was ok. added an egg. pretty sure the sauce was mayo… and there was way too much of it. grilled pork banh mi — forgettable. bread was above average, veggies were good. would come back for a $ 3 cheesesteak.

Its a small to go place type. Its not clean. I believe its family owned and the owners were not friendly. The food is ok-nothing spectacular about it. Would not try again.

Stopped by here to get a couple of Banh Mi Dac Biet to take with us to the airport since we would have a long layover before heading home. We weren’t sure if it’ll be good since we didn’t like the Banh Mi’s from Lee’s Sandwiches, but we were hoping it’ll be different… and it was. The Banh Mi’s at Sasha definitely had more ingredients and more flavor. It’s a little more in cost… about $ 3, but can’t say we didn’t enjoy it.

I like the beef lemon grass(bo nuong xa) and cheesesteak(bo xao). Make sure you come early because they run out of baguette around 2 or 3pm.

Got a recommendation from a friend to try this place out, so I made the trip out here before watching my 49ers beat the Saints! I shared two sandwiches. One was the cheesesteak, which I was super surprised was on the menu since it’s completely an American sandwich. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the aroma filled my car. Once I got home, took a bite, and fell in love! Oh, so good! An American classic with a slight Viet twist! The other sandwich was a pâté and shredded chicken banh mi. This was my attempt at trying pâté again and this banh mi may have me changing my tune! I enjoyed this very much. It’s a small shop with friendly people. You do have to look around a tree to see both sides of the menu, but it’s not that big of a deal.

I was referred to Sasha Deli by a friend and it was a good recommendation. In fact I ate one there and then got another one to go for work later. It’s a small shop so either get it to go or eat outside. If the weather isn’t very nice which is rare in Cali, best get it to go. I think Tan Hoang Huong Sandwiches and Coffee in Westminster is a better pick if you are looking for a new Banh Mi spot.

Hungover from a wild Saturday Night, and you’re just looking for something small to settle your Hennessey Shits… I recommend Sasha’s Deli.. . the bread is fresh, they are NOT shady with the meat and whatever sandwich you get ask my boy, Denzel, to hook you up with extra pâté and butter. Trust me, you will regret it if you don’t get it. The Dac Biet always brings a smile to my face, I usually get it with double meat, and extra pâté and butter, but if you are feeling adventurous.. . get the«Peter», a personal creation of mine that includes cheese steak, butter, pâté, and to top if off a fresh egg. At first it might look overwhelming but with the bomb bread you can actually taste everything.. . and it all goes together, TRUST! Give it a try, you will have a mind blowing experience, and Denzel will make you laugh.. . don’t forget to get a Rau Ma, Mmmm!

Over the weekend my friend introduced me to this place and I thought. wow. I never even knew it existed in the Bolsa area. We got an order of Philly’s Cheesesteak and it was BOMB! It has an asian mixture in it which I love. Too good! The only bad thing is they only accept cash but I thought the owner was very nice. At the time, we forgot to bring cash so he waited for us to come back & the cheesesteak was still freshly made. The owner was very nice. I would definitely come back. It’s delicious.

Sasha is my #1 stop for Vietnamese sandwiches. It’s a super small deli that skimps on the décor, but they make up for it with their taste and value. Sandwiches cost around $ 3, and my favorites are the Banh Mi Thit(Red meat) and the Cheesesteak. CHEESESTEAK?! that’s right homeboy, they serve cheesesteaks here. Vietnamese style. It comes with thinly sliced marinated beef, melted cheese, grilled onions, and served in a crispy baguette. Vedy Goot!

When you live in Little Saigon like me, it gets pretty hard to decide where to eat Vietnamese food sometimes, especially if you’re craving banh mi. How do you compete or even choose a place when there’s a shop«specializing» in banh mi on every corner and even at times, two to a plaza? Sasha Deli is a true testament in serving this Vietnamese staple and offers up a solid baguette sandwich that is amazing and cheap. I see banh mi as a snack food and even drunk food when it’s late at night and you need a quick fill, but with Sasha Deli I see it as a meal. The place runs out of the good stuff by about 3pm and I am such a fan that I would set an alarm early in the morning just to drive out on the busy streets of Bolsa to just grab a couple and share the gospel that is Sasha Deli! Would you ever describe banh mi as rich, delicious, satisfying? Cause the pâté and meats served in the warm baguettes here are exactly that. I was introduced here by my aunt who swears by the stuff and says it really is the best on Bolsa, and I believe it!
