The chairs only vibrate. No kneading or balls. My pedicure was mediocre to put it nicely. I didn’t feel like I even received a pedicure when it was done. The French manicure was not good and the lady kept asking if it was okay. The lines were crooked and when it looks that bad, you shouldn’t ask the customer. The rough spots on my feet were still there. The massage was decent. Overall, I’d rather pay half the price and go to an Asian nail salon.

Nail color application was blah! Arrived early and was served later than specified, because the hairstylist was getting a hair cut herself! When it was my turn the stylist had to ask for directions on how to «remove the hair bulk» When I scheduled appointment I told them that the next day I had a job interview and wanted to be presentable… well you’ve hope a visit to the salon will boost your confidence well it was a bust! It was as if they were really doing me a favor… bad experience.

I went a got my first ever Swedish message from Meredith and she did a great job and was very professional! I highly recommend her :) I then received a pedicure from Preslee. She was fantastic especially since I’m ticklish. All the girls that work on me, my soon to be sister and mother in law were FANTASTIC!!! I will recommend and will be getting in contact with Preslee to do my hair :)

Very professional salon with great people. Receptionists and owner are always pleasant. They carry/use great product lines. Jennifer is my stylist and she is fantastic. I also have a couple of friends who go to Amanda and really like her. I mostly just do hair here because it’s worth it to me. I can get comparable mani/pedi and massage elsewhere for much less so I don’t do that at Taliesin or any high-end spas.

This is my go to for salon services. It is fun, casual, and friendly. I never get out of this salon without a few great laughs. They take great care of you here and you can tell people like their jobs! Jon is a cut and color master. I’ve been going to him for years. He’s never let me down — including when I brought my Mom in for a hair emergency! Or that time I wanted Raggedy Ann Red Hair, or told him to cut it ALL off! I’d skip the mani pedi scene, but by all means get your wax on! She is quick, efficient, friendly, & comfortable to be around.

Jenny did an amazing facial. Really nice and easy to talk to. Love that this place is moving towards a product line that is manufactured locally.

Meh. I’ve experienced better… definitely not the place for a mani or pedi. Although they offer nail services, it is the hairstylists that provide the services. I know cosmetology is all encompassing but as the saying goes«A jack of all trades a master of none.» I’ve been to this spa twice once for a pedi and the second for a mani. Not the spa like atmosphere you would expect for the spa prices. The room is located right off the hair stylists room where you can hear every gossip session. My mani included a sugar scrub that I had to scrub on myself BYTHESINK. Better so I guess because the manicurist’s hand massage lacked any kind of firmness. Color application was sub par, I ended up removing and redoing myself at home. I’m sticking to my good ol turnstyle nail salon, even if my nail place churns me in and out in. I know I can always get a firm foot/hand massage and good color application for half the price. My facialist moved here and at least they have separated their facial and massage services to a different area. Taliesin has specialist for these services. If it wasn’t for my facialist, I don’t think I’d return. Shout out to Dawn. If you are looking for a good facial Dawn’s your girl.

I have been going to this place for years. I recently went back this week to improve my hair status. Jon is amazing. He does what I want and was actually very quick with me(Usually I need a min of 3 hours) We were done closer to 2 ½. Will be going back to Jon in 6 weeks.

I was a salon hopper for many years as I tried and tried to find the right place/person to be «my» stylist. Taliesin is where I found my home. They’re a top end salon so expect the prices to reflect that, but you certainly get what you pay for… a nice salon, something nice to drink, professional atmosphere, professional tools and products, and great work. And, free bang trims between cuts of course. My stylist always chats with me first, making sure we’re on the same page before we ever get started. Once we’re both comfortable with what’s to be done, we proceed with confidence. I’ve never walked out of Taliesin with that sinking feeling of «am I going to hate this after one wash?» The only trouble I’ve ever run into was a bit too much attention between coworkers taking away from focus on the customer and job at hand, but it has never affected the end product.

Not bad at all. I didn’t get John, but I was happy with my haircut. I’ll be going back.

My wife has given this place plenty of chances and they still disappoint. They think they’re more elite than they are. The first time the owner yelled at our kids for being there. My kids behave themselves in public and it was uncalled for. Tonight my wife got her nails done and the owner rushed her out of there so she could close up after my wife asked if her nails needed to dry more. What happened? Her nails were still wet and smugged the second she got to the car. We’ll never go back.
