Opened for almost 8 yrs but I never knew it was here. My mom said she would hear commercials for it on the radio but never actually went to check it out. Who I thought to be the owner behind the register was really nice. Everyone we interacted with were all very nice and welcoming. Che ba mau– it came out like a piece of art with all the different layers– since I was full from dinner(next door) I could barely finish this but whatever amount that I had was all really good. Sam bo luong– mother said it was a tad on the sweeter side but she didn’t complain must because she finished the whole thing! I was watching them make a boba drink for another order and all their Smoothies are made out of real fruit– no powder up in that ish $ 7.50 was the total for 2 Che drinks

I am only go there for the«Khoai Mon Bach Qua.» So so good. Much better than at Hien Khanh. The man at the counter is nicer than the lady.

When I visited Vietnam, there was a lady that carted around homemade banh bo every afternoon. She sold six pieces for 5,000 dong, pennies when you do the US conversion. Banh bo is labor intensive process of get all the honeycomb veins into the delicate dough. I haven’t found a spot yet that makes it quite like the woman in Vietnam. This place though, comes close. The banh bo was very good, probably the best I’ve had yet in the US and that’s a bit serendipitous as I wasn’t even looking. The accompanied coconut milk wasn’t rich and creamy though, so a bit of a let down. I also ordered the house special taro dessert with ginko nuts and white ear mushroom, which was also delightful. I had to order the neon green tapioca mochi balls filled with mung beans. They were just gorgeous. It was chewy on the outside and creamy on the inside and very delicious. All the desserts were just bordering on slightly too sweet, but that’s because I have a very low sugar tolerance and it may be perfect for most people. This was a very nice find. The space is clean and modern. I was a bit skittish after reading the other Unilocal reviews on service, but the gentleman who assisted me was very pleasant and explained the more exotic items.

Rude customer service. The lady owner is very rude. She yelled at her staff right in front of you. I asked her to put the coconut milk in a small container due to the dessert is for a pregnant friend. The owner said she wont do it for anybody. Whatever she sells, eat it or else. I wont come back anymore. For many years i have been coming there but the rudeness is getting out of hand.

This is my option b when I’m craving VN dessert and don’t feel like driving to Bolsa. They are located in the plaza with Seafood Paradise and Stater Bros. Parking is very difficult on weekends as they share the lot with multiple businesses. Small dessert spot with a few tables inside. They carry a variety of Che(Vietnamese desserts), sticky rice, pandan bread, saigon yogurt, flan, smoothies, and milk teas. I like the che thai(mixed exotic fruits-jackfruit, lychee, coconut jelly, tapioca, pandan in coconut milk. Very light and refreshing. The che bap(tapioca sweet corn with young coconut) is really good! Very unique twist to the traditional che bap which does not have young coconut slices. The coconut milk that accompanies this dessert is perfect. Freshly made and not overly sweet! Bring cash since they don’t accept credit!!!

I came in to order a durian smoothie and the gentlemen taking my order at the front was very nice! He made it right away and he used real durian fruit. It was delicious and I would definitely come back and try other drinks.

Probably one of my most favorite Che places and I come all the way from Las Vegas. The people there are always nice and accommodating. My favorite thing to order is the fried banana rice with coconut milk. It is a must try!

Probably the best Che I’ve had. Everything tastes fresh and clean. Location is convenient and the workers are super friendly. I’d definitely recommend getting the Che Qua Khoai Mon(taro and sweet).

I stopped by here recently and Husband ordered us a Che ba mau and another dessert. The Che ba mau was very good, made just right and quite filling! The dessert, even though I normally don’t like coconut was delicious with the milk/cream(?) on top. Will come again!

Ok… the dessert here isn’t bad but the attitude is atrocious !!! We, a family of 4 with husband wife and two kids, stopped by just to get a taro smoothie. But inspired by some of the display, we ended up buying a bunch of stuff. Sitting down at the table while waiting for the taro smoothie to be made, the kids broke out some cookies they previously bought at another place in the same complex. Suddenly we heard the lady yelling«Hello Hello!» really loudly. Looking up, we saw that our taro was ready and the lady looking really upset. We were puzzled as to why she had the need to yell when we were just sitting right there and the restaurant wasn’t even busy or noisy. Taking the taro and sitting down to drink it, we continued to enjoy the cookies because we weren’t ready to eat all the dessert we just bought from M Linh. Then hubby told me: «Look at the lady’s face!». I looked up and omg… she was glaring at us. We couldn’t figure out why but packed up and left anyway. Maybe she just has RBF(resting bitch face)? Maybe she was upset because we were eating cookies not bought from there? Doesn’t matter what, she’s crazy for treating buying customers that way.

Their desserts like Che ba mau, Che xam bo Luong, Che khoai mon etc are too sweet. Their prices are higher than Thach Che Hien Khanh, and they have more sugar. The owner needs to realize and practice better healthier desserts.

This place has the best Che Ba Mau! I tried the other desserts but I keep coming back to the Che Ba Mau. The owner, a very nice gentleman, is very pleasant and polite. He doesn’t have that«what’s your order» attitude like most Vietnamese establishments. I used to get desserts from here once a week but not anymore since I gained weight. Lol! However, I do get the Che for my family members though because I like to watch them gain weight like me… wahahahaha(evil laugh)!

This is a small store to order to go food. They had a small assortment of sticky rice, sausages and spring rolls. They had a big variety of che. All of it smells so good! I ordered the rau ma and mung bean shake. It had an interesting flavor to it, but I think the mung bean made the smoothie too thick. I would like to come back and try out the other smoothies.

My husband and I randomly found this Vietnamese dessert shop while we were waiting for our table at Peking Restaurant. Stepped inside, and saw an array of various Vietnamese desserts. Yum! We didn’t know what any of the items were on display, and had to point out what we wanted. I saw a photo for the«Che bao mau» and ordered this drink to-go. It reminds me of the dessert/drinks served at Bambu! Coconut milk, beans, jellies, tapioca, shaved ice on top, etc. YUM! :) It was pretty good, couldn’t finish though. Probably lots of calories. I heard this place is known for their dessert bananas, but we didn’t get to try that this time. I wouldn’t mind coming back again to try out the other desserts, yummos :)

Hands down my favorite Che Ba Mau in Little Saigon! I L-O-V-E how generous they are with their toppings. I swear, it’s like a 10 lbs Che! Another great thing is that they don’t use any cream and only coconut milk, which is incredible news to lactose intolerant people like me! A must stop place when you’re in Little Saigon!

I normally HATE che I came here after dinner with my parents for some dessert. We each got an item. Mine was the Che Thai, my mom’s was the Che Dau Trang, and my dad a drink. For all three items it was $ 6. Cheap! My Che Thai was good. It was large and was the perfect amount of sweetness. I don’t even think I had half and it was more than enough. I’m glad we stopped in after dinner. The whole place is small but not as small as Hien Khanh. Their che here is better. Hien Khanh is better for their Xoi(sticky rice). My Linh is cleaner though with places to seat down. They even have a TV. Like Hien Khanh, it’s cash only =(.
