The Finish Line

Against my better judgment, I stopped here instead of Dick’s or Sports Authority to get basketball shoes for my son. Big mistake. This store caters to fashion, not function. Prices were no better than Dick’s, and selection was limited unless we were looking for ‘stylin’ as the salesperson noted. This is the place for Lebrons, not for shoes for actually playing basketball.
As soon as the salesperson realized we weren’t looking for $ 200 Lebrons, he found something better to do, even handing us a box with the Under Armour high tops my son actually wanted with only one shoe in them, then acting put out when I asked him to find the other shoe.
I’m sticking with legitimate sporting goods stores from now on. You made a $ 60 sale, buddy. Could have easily been $ 100 or more if you’d actually put some care into your salesmanship.
