Hahaha. They get the last laugh. I have been driving by this place for years! The boyfriend convinced me to go, and I was nervous as it looks like a dump. Well, shame on me for judging a book by its cover. It is the best for grilled chicken and rice. Love this place-YUM.

I went to this place because it was on my way hm for lunch. Place my order for pick up, came there they got my order wrong and when I told them it seem like they didn’t care. Went hm and eat the food they give me, taste worst than dog food, for almost $ 8 I can get better food else where. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Bad service and horrible food.

The best chicken bowls in town! Period. Quick service. Always good. Been coming here as long as they’ve been here. Never disappointed.

We were in the area and decided to try this place for dinner because of the reviews. Sadly, it turned out to be a disappointment. Ordered 4 combo plates — 2 beef, 1 chicken, 1 pork. They plates looked appealing but the meat was poor quality, tasteless, and overcooked. Even the bottled teriyaki sauce they use isn’t good. The rice tasted like it was a day old. Lastly, the dressing for the salad is disgusting. Not even sure what to call it besides watery and runny. Won’t be coming here again.

My family and I have been coming here for years, had to finally leave a review as I’m sitting here waiting for my food! Their food is ALWAYS fresh, I’ve never had any complaints. Very clean, and their customer service has always been great. They well deserve 5 stars! :)

I’m a huge fan of waba grill/flame broiler and this place murders the rest. Parking here is a little tight but the food is well worth it. I come here once a week and usually order the chicken salad(which I can NEVER finish) and it’s very good. Love this spot and will continue to come here weekly

Best off-the-grill Japanese style chicken, beef and pork. Awesome gyoza. and egg rolls. Deep fried oysters and kick ass fish. I travel just for their food. Rice is always perfect and the prices per portion are excellent. Not sure why the food is consistently exceptional. Could be the well-seasoned grill or the marinade recipe or both or ??? I wish I could give this place six stars.

Tasty with unique options like fried oysters! Defiantly a hole in the wall but the food is great! Don’t let the run down appearance fool you, this place rocks!

Not bad, quick service and the food is made to order. It’s pretty divey but the kitchen was very clean.

Always good. Better than Flame Broiler. Hard to place a phone order, they need to work on that. Very tasty. I eat here when I’m in the area.

Good food, reasonable price! Not fancy at all. Everything is in Togo containers fulfilled my craving for teryaki! I had the chicken/beef plate with side little salad and dumpling. Not a fan of the sides but the Yaki was great! I will be coming back facility where food is prepared looked clean and organized!

Beware they love to change the prices!!! I wonder if the owner knows he is getting taken by his own staff! Will never come back to this place ever again!

Yaki Tori’s food is decent if you’re looking for a quick chicken teriyaki bowl! Their rice tastes a little different like chewy and sticky in my opinion, but I think their chicken is super good. You can ask for little containers to put teriyaki sauce or hot sauce to add a little more flavor to your plate. The workers are always nice, except for last night when one of the workers looked like he just wanted to get me out there. Overall I think you get a good portion and it comes with an egg roll and dumpling! Yummy :’) Oh and it’s cash only! But they have an atm there for you.

Pretty good and prices are reasonable. Very clean kitchen and tastes great. They have seating but faces a busy street. I ordered the chicken and oyster.

boyfriend loves this place. i’d probably go to flame broiler instead but he thinks this place is absolutely fabulous. probably wouldn’t use«absolutely fabulous» to describe it but whatevers. it’s my review. the portions are HUGE. but they are cash only. and parking really super sucks. it’s also located on a busy corner so we usually park a few lots over and walk. the workers never really seem engaged or interested. then again, if i were them i probably wouldn’t either. it’s small, out in the open, and they probably don’t get a lot of human interaction throughout the day. he will usually order the beef and chicken combo, and i’ll order a chicken plate. that with a soda will come out to a little less than 20. also, for the soda lovers: stay away from the diet coke. i’m pretty sure the machine has not been clean, serviced or changed in a long time. the diet coke tasted weird and flat. i wouldn’t be surprised if all their sodas tasted that way.

The food here is not so great because it was super super dry. The rice and the meat(chicken) was sooo dry. I ordered my food to go and there was no teriyaki sauce included or hot sauce. Come to think about it, I would have needed to drench my food with that sauce in order for it to be tasty anyway, so thank goodness they didn’t include it. There was only 1 man working so I had to wait like 20 mins in the cold for my food. Over priced and I honestly think Flame boiler is better!

So this place is the shack on the corner of the street by the new car wash place. I didn’t realize it until we got there but decided that it could still be good. So stuff here was really cheap. I got the chicken and oyster combo and changed to pork and oyster for an extra dollar. It ended up being just over $ 9. Pretty sure thats the most expensive thing on the menu except for the seafood combo. The good: People at my table said that the chicken was good and moist. No complaints about the beef. I liked the pork but more importantly they had a pork offering at all along with the shrimp and oyster offerings although I will likely not get the oysters again, they weren’t bad, they just weren’t good. Also, even though its a shack there is alot of outside seating and during a nice SoCal day would be great to sit at. The best part is the volume is such that they don’t cook the food until you order it. Excessively important. The bad: I didn’t like their teriyaki sauce, its thinner and saltier than what I’m used to. There are no veggies to speak of. The salad has a very unappetizing dressing to it, the eggroll and gyoza’s are throwaways. You are on the corner of a very busy intersection so there is alot of noise and cars. I didn’t mind coming here, I won’t come back on my own accord, but I would probably come here if the group was going.

Combo #4 Chicken and beef. About $ 8 No frills corner stand on Westminster/Edwards with great tasting food. I always get the chicken and beef combo which comes with rice, a small side salad, gyoza, and egg roll. I can eat a lot and they definitely load you up. Their combos can feed one big eater or two people easily. There’s bottles of teriyaki and chili sauce available. The guys inside… cook and cashier… are always friendly and cool.

I seriously forgot how much I loved this place! Went back after work and ordered my usual #2 combination plate — the beef teriyaki plate with salad, gyoza and vegetable eggroll. The total came out to be $ 6.44 — they only take cash by the way! There was only one person working today, but he was really nice. No line too! Anyways, the guy working took and made my order and it was done in like 5 minutes, hot and ready to eat, which was good because I was freaking starvinggggg. Everything was still hot and fresh when I got it home, thank God. The beef was both sweet and tender. Loved it. The salad was a bit warm, but it still tasted good because of the dressing. The gyoza and eggroll were okay, but i don’t really come here for that, so I don’t mind. Definitely gonna come back again.
