My car was rear-​ended on 6÷11÷15. Rear bumper, exhaust clearly needed to be replaced. I had dealt with CollisionMax in the past in ~2009 to get my dad’s Chevy Equinox repaired. Work was completed satisfactorily with our Equinox EXCEPT they forgot to hang the exhaust on the «hangers» underneath. So our repaired exhaust had been hanging unsupported for ~5 days because it was never secured onto these «hangers» properly. Had to bring the car into their shop and this was remedied in ~ 5 minutes so no big deal but still showcased their lack of attention to detail. 7 – 10 days later my AC stopped working (no cold air) because they didn’t properly insulate/​protect a critical AC tubing properly because it melted from the heat of the engine causing the Freon gas to leak. I’m not sure exactly what was the culprit but all I know is they didn’t repair the tubing of the AC, radiator etc (parts in the front of the engine) properly resulting in one of the piping to be melted. They accepted responsibility for the shoddy repairs and fixed it free of charge. The fact that we had to bring our Equinox back to their shop 2 times was not confidence inspiring at all and in short we were not satisfied. For the most recent rear-​end collision, although my insurance company and the Toyota dealership recommended different body shops I decided to go with CollisionMax again. Overall I’m glad I gave them a second chance.
Called «MISTY» (front desk; phone representative) on 6÷11÷15 and then emailed her on 6÷21÷15 with my Estimate of Repairs (from my insurance adjuster). After not hearing a response, emailed her again on 6÷25÷15 and got a reply from her the following day on 6÷26÷15 (5 days later) with a apology. Due to a storm, I had to delay dropping off my vehicle so it wouldn’t be damaged while being parked in their outside lot. Dropped off my car on 7÷17÷15 and work was completed on 7÷25÷15. Excess charges on top of the insurance estimate were billed directly to insurance company saving me the headache.
I’m very happy with their repair work and the professionalism of all staff I had to interact with on the phone, email and in person. MISTY (interacted on phone, email) and MIKE (phone) and GEORGE (? i think it was a «George»; dealt with in person when picking up car) were a pleasure to deal with. Past sour experience (with Equinox), delays (no prompt email reply, having to wait ~ a month to have repair work started) aside, I’m overall happy with the rear bumper, catback exhaust repair, and color matching they did. They also honored my request to NOT wash the car which was nice. During the duration of the repair work, my car was driven 0.5 miles (compare before & after odometer pics) which is totally acceptable. TIP: For anyone reading and considering getting new body work replaced on their car, I wouldn’t get your car washed. It makes judging the paint matching of the new parts with your old paint easier to see.

How lucky am I to have this place within walking distance ! Mike Costello gives great, verrry quick appraisals, Misty takes care of all the Enterprise nonsense… and I pity whomever it was in the shop who had to put all that stuff in my backseat back into my trunk, after they fixed my rear bumper. The work that was done on my vehicle was very good, however, the poor customer service I received is why I am rating this location with 3 stars.
I received no updates on my vehicles progress via phone or email as promised. In fact, I had to call to get a probable completion date and was told that it may be ready by the end of the week. It wasn’t until an apraiser contacted me, was I made aware that it would be done sooner.
I will certainly be letting the corporate office know about my experience as having a customers vehicle for 9 days without any updates is unacceptable.
Update: It appears the customer service issues were just a miscommunication between the original shop I dropped the car off at and the shop it was later transfer to. Misty and Scott were very nice when I picked up my car and apologized for any inconvenience the miscommunication caused.
The work done to my car is top notch; I would highly recommend this shop for repairs.

My car sustained some front bumper damage while sitting in a parking lot. Obviously, nobody wants to deal with that and it’s so frustrating, but CollisionMax made it bearable.
When I first called, the customer service rep, Misty, was very pleasant and helpful on the phone and got me set up for an estimate. They brought me in within 45 minutes of my call.
Once I was in for my estimate, Dave did a great job going over everything with the car. The fog light appeared to need replacement, but he said he would do his best to repair it, which would save me a good deal of money. (And he was able to fix the light!)
I said I really needed the car back by a certain date due to travel. Dave went out of his way to get the car in and fixed, which included coming in during a huge snow storm.
Hopefully I don’t need them in the future, but I’ll definitely be coming back if my car sustains damage again.

This place is terrible! I had a messed up bumper and went there for consultation.
They told me to come back for appointment… When I dropped of my car, they said it should be done in 3 days. I called on the third, and they said they haven’t even looked at the car yet… when they finally looked at the car, they said, «we can not fix it». I went there for a total of 3 times for nothing being done. Most ridiculous thing is that the reason they can’t fix my car is that they are afraid that they will cause damages to other parts during fixation and that I have to be responsible for the further charges.
Their inability to do the job makes me give them 1 star. please think again when you consider this place. it’s a waste of time and energy.

Unfortunately had to come here a few times (do they offer a frequent buyer discount card?), but each time the people here are very nice and helpful. They do excellent work, even my coworker who rehabs antique cars said so. Highly recommend them.

The Friday before July 4^th this year I was rear ended while stopped at a light. Everyone was fine, but my poor car was pretty beat up in the back. CollisionMax worked with the other driver’s insurance to make this process smooth, pleasant and quick. They did excellent work and it looks like new again.
I would absolutely go here again and recommend it to any of you reading this review. Why not 5 stars? They adjusted my seat. I can understand moving a seat forward or backward to drive the car safely, but why did you have to screw with the tilt? It will take days to get it back the way I like it. I hate that. Do you really need to lay in my car like a hammock to move it 100′ in and out of the repair bays?
But great in every other way! Don’t hesitate to take your car here if you need a repair.

Great experience with them! I have been there two other times as well over the years. I never write reviews or send letters so they have to make an impression for me to do this. Great service, paint job looks factory new, checked everything out and handled it with Insurance co. Even better… minor problem when I picked up vehicle and they took care of it on the spot and got me on the way. Sometimes the best way to judge an organization is how they handle problems which inevitably come up. The Westmont shop is first rate!

One time, a woman drove directly into the back of my car, which was parked in front of my house, in broad daylight and during nice weather, three days before Christmas.
CollisionMax made my car look like new again.
One time, I stupidly left my car parked on a low elevation street down the shore… the night before a nor’easter.
CollisionMax tore out the guts of my car and, when I got it back, it looked (and smelled!) like new again.
The other day, I noticed something hanging down under the hood of the car.
In five minutes, the problem was taken care of — at no charge.
