I went after work looking for a some quiet music and a glass of wine. The bartender was awesome. Ordered broiled chicken to go. I have ordered this before and it was delicious. Bone equals flavor. No bone this time. Needless to say not impressed. I want to like this place. You have to ask for bread for a carry out. I liked the music. Service on the floor could have used some tweeking. Probably won’t be back anytime soon due to ckn prep.

Great again! Came with my wife and her friend. After a wonderful absolutely delicious dinner, enjoyed a night filled of wonderful entertainment. They had Katie Sullivan who’s comedy is as good as her singing and playing the guitar all night-a powerfully delicious and entertaining evening! Appetizers are out of this world and the menu-so versatile, not your average pub menu. What fun! Stayed 2 hours after we finished eating!!!

I have partaken in this establishment a few times and was never totally disappointed. Fun cocktails, patio for the summer. Music too! In my opinion just decent food(3.5 stars). Service is usually quick and friendly however. The seating a bit awkward inside. No booths. Overall I know I’ll be back. I love a good drinks do can hopefully have a better food experience.

Again, absolutely great offerings. Stopped by for a quick lunch and meeting. The mussels appetizer of white wine enhanced with freshly prepared pesto, garlic and olive oil was excellent as was the combination platter of salad, soup and sandwich all were freshly prepared with excellent layerings. The soup was black bean… great. My associate had the same combo but with a mushroom soup that was to die for. The service was impeccable.

Very nice Sunday brunch: VEGGIESKILLET and CHEASAPEAKEBAYCRABSTRATA. Both very good. Coffee carafe came to the table lukewarm, but they cheerfully made a fresh pot of hot coffee. Cheerful service. Place was not full Sunday at noon, suspect the room may be a bit noisy if crowded.

We’ve eaten here several times. I’ve come with the wife, with her and the kids, and with just the kids. We’ve eaten outside and inside. The food is just about always fantastic. On one occasion when wee ate outside, the service was kinda slow. But our lunch experiences have always been very good. Their live music evenings are really cool. I like that we have a lively place like this downtown. They’ve preserved the old wooden freezers that have been a part of the building since(I think) WWII, only they’ve put a dining area behind them. Excellent spot in downtown Westmont.

Had a nice lunch there yesterday. Service was pleasant, fast and they have good martinis. The sandwiches… Cuban and Tuna were light and tasty. Great fresh coleslaw. Get over there before its too cold to sit on the patio…

I’ve been here twice for lunch with my husband. I can’t go wrong with the daily special. Each time it was amazing food. The service is good and the staff is friendly. My only hang up is the building. Inside there’s and old musty smell and the décor is outdated. The patio is a prime location addition but it looks like a junk yard. In the summer it’s over crowded with stuff not in use and in the winter, I drive past and see all sorts of things stacked up. I bet if it was updated, more people would stop by and discover this place.

Not here for food, but just a glass of wine as I’m early to meet some friends. The décor of the place is a little dated. I ordered a Malbec and it was ok. The glass was straight out of «my first home». Not something I typically get from restaurants when ordering wine, even if they aren’t a known«wine bar». But if you are going to have a wine menu… The staff seemed a little scattered and the crowd seemed like regulars. Would I come again and order food? Maybe. The Cuban seems to be the way to go.

After enjoying a delicious Cuban sandwich from the J. Fleming’s tent at the Westmont Fest last weekend, we decided to give dining in a try. I’ll start with the positives. They have a spacious covered patio. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. The live music on Friday night was a fun addition. The food was really, really disappointing. My husband ordered another Cuban sandwich and it was nothing like the 1 we had a week prior. The bread was mushy, almost to the point of soggy. I ordered a pasta special with chicken, red peppers & broccoli in a garlic/oil sauce. The entire dish was pretty tasteless. It honestly tasted like a bland chicken stir fry. It really could have used salt, pepper and some heat. Way to much oil at the bottom of the dish to the point that it was soupy. Unfortunately, food execution needs some serious work. I’m not sure we’ll be back.

So, I have frequently visited this restaurant, especially during summer when Westmont hosts the Classic Car Night. It seems improvements need to happen. Tonight the staff was consistently confused. Food was really blah, nothing fresh or appetizing. The restaurant itself is dirty and definitely needs updating! The outside patio is especially in need of a good makeover. Lots of potential if they clean this place up and develop a quality fresh menu.

Stopped here for lunch at our«day in the burbs». I had the sausage sandwich on garlic bread. It came out smothered in cheese and marinara. Husband had the chicken Parmesan sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. Two brothers makes a «absolutely delicious IPA», which was great! We sat outside on their large patio. Coming from the city, it was nice to slow the pace down. They definitely pay attention to the quality of food here. They waitress was really nice. We will be back!
