So very sorry to hear of its closing due to the death of its owner, Mr. Friedman. Always great food and you cannot ask for a more scenic place to eat!

We came here for my mothers birthday in December. It was decorated nicely for the holidays and we were near the water fall. It was seven of us and we had a really nice time. Brunch was great– good eggs, waffles, burgers– my husband even got fish which he said was cooked perfectly. Brunch cocktails were great and refreshing as it was a warm December weekend. Service was good, drinks were good, dessert was great too. I’d come here again for a special occasion in warmer weather so we could eat outside.

This is my second time at this establishment and I couldn’t be more pleased. The bartender, Jacob, took the time to go over my dietary issues and helped my navigate the menu to find food that I could eat. The food here is absolutely scrumptious. We ordered an appetizer, a salad, main course, desert and drinks — Jacob crafted us a delicious whiskey concoction that really hit the spot! I highly recommend this location and will definitely be coming back here soon!

I really prefer to have Thanksgiving dinner with my family, but this year my sons and their wives and kids had to be elsewhere. My husband and I wanted a «real» New England Thanksgiving, so we decided to try Cobb’s Mill. I hadn’t been there in quite awhile, and it’s gone through several reincarnations since then, but we found it absolutely charming. We had a six o’clock reservation and were seated promptly. The server came over immediately and took our drink orders. Then she took our salad and dinner orders as well. The salad was delightful — endive, arugula, goat cheese, walnuts and pomegranates. Our dinners were served soon after and they were delicious. I had turkey with all the trimmings, and my husband had the stuffed chicken breast. They gave us so much, we took home doggy bags. My only complaint was that we reserved a window table on the lower level so we could see the waterfall, and there were no such tables available. However — we’ll be back!

The food was good, but for such a nice place the seating is awful. Hard wood chairs? You can’t throw some cushions on the chairs? No wonder the place was empty For a place with escargot you should have more comfortable seating. I won’t return till you do

We were warned that it was disorganized and the food was«, meh» but we were looking for a quaint place to host a weekend of Christmas shows with dinner. Our apprt. was at 2:00. When we arrived we were told Todd would be right back. He went home for a shower. Really? After an hour we had other venues to scout so we left. No call with an apology for blowing us off. We waited two days and called– not there-left a message-nothing. Maybe he’s still in the shower. Glad I’m not trying to organize a wedding there!

I went there this spring for dinner with a friend. It was crowded inside so we asked to be seated on the screened porch. It wasn’t set up, but we were seated there. Ordered wine and waited another 45 min. to have our order taken. Server was surly because we hadn’t ordered when he brought the wine. Had a nice filet which was over cooked. Service was very slow. Decided to give it another try so went there for lunch this week. Again tables on the porch were not set, no one to seat us, no apparent wait staff. Gave up and left. Probably won’t try again! Too bad they don’t have a first rate restaurant at this pretty spot!

Th NEW Cobbs Mill is sure to not disappoint. Went here Friday night and sat on the screened in porch by the waterfall. The four of us enjoyed our meals and appetizers and our waiter Carlos was attentive and clever with his banter. The most amazing part about the Cobbs Mill is that it is a jewel in the middle of Weston with plenty of parking, seating and menu choices of food and drinks. If you haven’t been in here in awhile like me, you need to give it a try. Support local!

The food, service and welcoming atmosphere are awesome. It’s such a unique place filled with character — highly recommend for brunch, lunch or dinner. We also just had our wedding at Cobbs Mill last night. It was amazing and perfect! The team is so professional and accommodating. Todd, the manager, is the best and really made everything go smoothly! The food was great — our guests had rave reviews all night long. A perfect venue for a rustic or elegant wedding with tons of character. Not your cookie cutter wedding factory and you will get the same level of professionalism and experience. Thank you Todd and Marlo and team for the wedding of my dreams.

This place was total crap! We went there for a reading and the first hint that this place was so terribly is that no one took our order for half an hour! When they finally did we got a ton of snark from our sever, who seemed to be the only person in the entire restaurant who was«taking orders.» Anyway, an HOUR later we start to wonder where our food is only to realize that my food had been waiting on the counter for a while and my mom’s had been taken by someone else. When I first bit into my fish and chips I realized that it was, not only lukewarm but also way overdone. Yet another hour later our server walks by and we manage to get their attention. After we ask him to take our food away, he flat out refused to until we had eaten more. Total. Bull.

Easter Brunch — disappointing. Will come back again to try reg dining downstairs. Can’t beat location. It’s pretty cool.

Went to a reservation required Easter Brunch with high expectations. When the disorganized host couldn’t figure out who was sitting upstairs or down and tried to seat strangers at our table, it should have been our clue to abandon ship. We persevered and were met with continued disappointment from an amateurish wait staff, dirty plates, slow service, empty buffet, mediocre food, lousy cocktails, store bought desserts, etc. etc. If there was anything positive honestly I would mention it. The only hope is that this was a unique Easter disaster, but it is hard to imagine that could be the case with all the issues we had.

We’ve been coming here for 18 years, and the Mill has never been better! The wine list is limited, but good selection with GREAT prices~~~ and the food is terrific. Stuart and Jimmy make the experience truly memorable! Last night they had Billy Joel’s band, which was awesome entertainment to boot! Can’t wait to go back. The mid-week diner specials are a terrific bargain, too!

Cobbs Mill Inn & Pub are back to what we loved so much about the original years ago. The real reason to go there is to have a drink, see your friends, have some good food and classic Old World English/Yankee Pub & Inn. The view if the 200 yr old mill waterfall is always fun and the people who work there feel more like old friends than wait staff. My wife and I are going to be there on Friday nights as our new tradition. For locals — come on back my friends!

A bit pricy but definitely worthy! Food was delicious, the drinks were good, the service was quick and the portions were great. The whole staff is very kind and welcoming. Totally recommended.

Went with friends for a late evening meal, neat place with a waterfall outside because it was a mill back in the day. Has a little musty smell but neat and historic. Menu was diverse and the specials listed really sounded good. I had the seared & peppered ahi. Delicious! For entrée, the three sliders, BBQ pork, lobster slider and burger. That was enough food for me with the ahi appetizer. My friends ate well also. Steak, crab, grilled chicken(that was dry). All very tasty! After we ate we went up to listen to the open mic night. Only bummer, someone lit up a smoke and we has to head out for my friend who can’t live with it.

My mom, 2 daughters and I had a lovely early dinner here. The enchanting surrounds preserved much of the 18th century mill while featuring the needed updates to bring the place into the present. There’s a certain serenity in dining on a waterfront, and Cobb’s Mill Inn made it easy to access and enjoy the tranquility. We had delicious food to match the environment: a pear and feta salad, margherita pizza, and a kid-friendly pasta dish for the 7 year-old. The wait staff was prompt and courteous. I would definitely return here sans kids and explore more of the culinary offerings. Great job!

We had heard less than stellar reviews for Cobb’s Mill Inn, but when a friend of ours had a great Easter meal there recently, we decided to check it out. We sat downstairs in the bar area which has superb ambiance with its legendary waterfall close by. We started off with steamed clams which were plump and delicious and considerably larger than ones served at other restaurants. That was followed by a delicious order of Lobster Mac and Cheese which despite being a little light on lobster, came out piping hot and perfectly seasoned. My wife went with the white pizza which was just average despite an abundance of red pepper seasoning. All in all an above average meal in a great atmosphere. Warning: avoid the house wine by the glass. not good and small pours.
