25 cent shots: Enough said!
We, too, only went to the McCormick Country Store on Main, but it was a great experience and a good break from the wine tasting and antiquing. Try the double chocolate vodka — so good you could just sip it. They also have their recipe for Warm Fuzzy’s which includes double chocolate vodka, hot chocolate and Irish cream. I will be working up my first batch this weekend.
You can’t miss this store if you visit Weston. I had no idea McCormick made so many different vodkas.

Reading any of my previous reviews you’ll notice that for a guy I end up in some not so manly places. Some of this is because I’m okay with that, but most of it’s because my wife drags me along. So when I was informed that we would spend a few hours antiquing in historic Weston, MO the first thing I thought was NOOOOOOO!
Needless to say it wasn’t all that bad. After the first hour or so and multiple antique stores, I found myself outside my mecca on Weston’s Main St. McCormick Distilling’s Country Store (they also have a full distillery at the address listed above. I haven’t had a chance to check that out yet but it’s in the plans). Nothing can get you ready for more antiquing like a couple sample shots of top shelf, locally distilled vodka of various flavors. They have everything from plain, chocolate and vanilla to almost any fruit flavor you can imagine. I tried the plain and the chocolate and it is so smooth you could sip it by itself.
