25 cent shots: Enough said! We, too, only went to the McCormick Country Store on Main, but it was a great experience and a good break from the wine tasting and antiquing. Try the double chocolate vodka — so good you could just sip it. They also have their recipe for Warm Fuzzy’s which includes double chocolate vodka, hot chocolate and Irish cream. I will be working up my first batch this weekend. You can’t miss this store if you visit Weston. I had no idea McCormick made so many different vodkas.

Reading any of my previous reviews you’ll notice that for a guy I end up in some not so manly places. Some of this is because I’m okay with that, but most of it’s because my wife drags me along. So when I was informed that we would spend a few hours antiquing in historic Weston, MO the first thing I thought was NOOOOOOO! Needless to say it wasn’t all that bad. After the first hour or so and multiple antique stores, I found myself outside my mecca on Weston’s Main St. McCormick Distilling’s Country Store(they also have a full distillery at the address listed above. I haven’t had a chance to check that out yet but it’s in the plans). Nothing can get you ready for more antiquing like a couple sample shots of top shelf, locally distilled vodka of various flavors. They have everything from plain, chocolate and vanilla to almost any fruit flavor you can imagine. I tried the plain and the chocolate and it is so smooth you could sip it by itself. If you find yourself in Weston, and you enjoy supreme spirits, you have to check out McCormick Distilling Co.
