Very nice place(stayed here on a visit last year and was looking to book again this year and saw I’d forgotten to leave a review — oops). Typical of many timeshare-style appointments, but with a slightly more«homey» feeling. Large bathroom, well equipped full sized kitchen. The side I stayed on had trees overhanging the balcony which allowed for a very pleasant sitting experience without having to battle bugs and bright sun. Nice. Looking forward to booking again for a future stay.

We exchanged for this room through RCI. It was one of the better exchanges that we have had though furnishings need updating Full size kitchen is a big plus. Clean rooms, nice pool, and good location. We looked out over a street instead of the pool, s little disappointing. However, being on the top floor with no one above us made up for that. Enjoyed the water workouts with Katie, the Activity person. She does a great job. I would like to see the pool lounge policy enforced. Every morning found chairs reserved despite the signs. The same few people took over the sunny side of the pool every day –rude. Sofa was very uncomfortable but everything else was fine.

This place I would highly recommend! It is clean, well managed and is located in an upscale neighborhood about 30 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale. There are shops nearby, namely restaurants, a pharmacy, boutiques, emergency center, and a supermarket. All are within walking distance. Everyday there are activities for guests to participate in. Pool is clean, reasonably big, and there is a hot tub in an area behind the pool. The rooms are big, but have only one bedroom, toilet and shower. The bath tub is in the bedroom. Patio is a generous size. This place is akin to a fully furnished apartment. Laundry facility is down the hall on every floor, and it is a coin operated one. Washers and dryers are old-fashioned looking, but work. My issue however is with the check-in, and this is why I gave 4 stars! The staff is very cordial, but BEWARE of the $ 20 ‘gifts’ they push on you upon checking in! If you want those, you will be made to endure a 4 hour or more sales pitch to buy a timeshare at that place! I had to endure that and was completely pissed off because they ruined my plans for the afternoon by holding me hostage for four hours trying to sell me a timeshare! YOUWILLNOT be able to get those ‘gifts’ if you don’t go through that hard-sell sales pitch! Then, if you don’t spend thousands of dollars at the first try, there’s someone waiting to try to force you to buy when you’re trying to leave. They usher you into another ‘boiler room’, where you are offered the same timeshare at a ‘reduced’ rate, but there is a catch if you are not paying attention! Property and maintenance rates are double per annum!!! I was not having it anymore, and got to the point where I was — either I get my $ 20 back, or you give me the tickets I chose, and let me get the hell out of here! Nonsense! I have learned my lesson, and the next time I go to anyone of these places and they show me those $ 20 things, I will say«Darling put that back under the counter where it belongs!» Side note: if you buy a timeshare here, you are not an owner, but a lessee! They are now only issuing 25 year leases, and not deeds anymore! So you think about that! It’s scandalous!

The location was perfect for what we planned to do on vacation. But the staff was rude and unhelpful on such a level that we will NEVER return or use this company again. The only person who was polite was the sales person, that wanted us to buy into the company. While we are in the market for another time share/vacation club membership I couldn’t get past the customer service. The deal was awesome and hard to pass up but with the way we were treated, we decided it would be best to invest in a different company. While getting a message her phone kept going off and she kept stopping to reply to text and even left the room to answer. While She did apologize it ruined my experience and recommend people to not waste the money. Theres cheaper Places away from the resort.

This place is ok. The rooms are big. The pool is nice and the area around the hotel offers dining and shopping. But to do anything else, you’ll need to drive a decent amount.

This was a good experience overall. Mizner Place is part of Vacation Villages Resort. Mizner Place is located in an excellent town and it’s located right next to a shopping center. The check in took longer than what it should and when your family just had a long day of airplane delays, you just want to get in your room. The room doesn’t fit where the resort is located. The room feels old. You have a balcony that faces the pool but the sliding doors didn’t work properly. The thermostat was not working properly. There was mo way if turning it off to enjoy the climate outside or change the temperature settings. The staff is very friendly, so that is always a plus. If you need towels, there is an exchange program but you have to go and get them. There is a laundry facility but it is coin operated. The laundromat look cheapens the place a bit. I have stayed at chain hotels that have a laundry facility for free. The WiFi is poor that is because they want you to pay for the upgrade connection but I was not there on business so I didn’t care about it too much. This is a good experience overall but I had just stayed at another Vacation Villages Resort in Las Vegas(Not on Strip) and it blows Mizner Place out of the water. If they can upgrade the room and make some other changes, it can be a better facility. .
