Patrick Taleb Salon & Spa

Patrick Taleb was my regular salon until today. I’ve been coming here for 4 years with the same stylist and never had a problem. I’ve gotten hair cuts, highlights, and color done here before.
I had an appointment today for a full-​highlight and cut today at 2 pm. I show up on time and as soon as my stylist starts sectioning off my hair, a client that had a 1:30 appointment shows up 30 min late. He leaves me for about 30 min to attend this other hair cut. I didn’t think it was fair that I showed up on time for my appointment and he leaves me to take care of someone else. I was annoyed, but I figured he would do an extra good job since that happened. Turns out, I was wrong. My highlights are disgraceful. I have medium brown hair and asked for subtle, lighter highlights. I have gotten them done there before and they’ve always done a great job. My hair now has un-​blended chunks of yellow (not blonde) in it. Not once did they apologize for how my hair turned out. They tried using a toner to help, but it still looked appalling. In turn, all of the other stylists tried coming up to me and telling me how great my hair looked because they could see how upset I was. They did not see what the problem was with my hair. They look like chunky, 90’s highlights. I had this done on a Saturday and the next available time they have to fix it is on Thursday… Never coming here again. Not worth the money or the service. So disappointed that they still made me pay for these highlights that a first year beauty school student could’ve done a better job on. You lost a loyal customer of 4 years today.

Mani/​pedi area is very clean, inviting and cozy. Highly recommend this place.

I can’t complain about the hairstylists at this salon, but am more than disgusted with the receptionist whom I spoke with regarding an appointment I had made. Not only was this girl extremely rude, but she gave me attitude because she didn’t do her job and confirm my appointment. Being extremely busy, I simply cannot keep track on every appointment in my life and I rely on the confirmation call as a reminder of when I am supposed to go in. If I am unable to make an appointment I most certainly do the respectful thing of calling to cancel with as much time in advance as possible. In this case, I never received a call confirming my appointment and therefore unfortunately missed it. I received a call ten minutes into my scheduled appointment time asking where I was, and it was unfortunately too late to then show up for my haircut. I said I was sorry for the confusion and it wasn’t my intention to mess up their schedule but I was simply reliant on the confirmation call which I never got. This girl continued to argue with me telling me she will check her records and let me know when she called, which she never did because there was no call! Also, I apologized and said I would reschedule in the future, then she proceeded to give me attitude and make a smart comment about maybe next time I need to pay more attention to dates and make a note of it, which I didn’t appreciate. I refuse to tolerate disrespect from a 17 year old receptionist who has no idea what she is talking about. They lost a loyal customer thanks to her and her poor attitude. Snotty atmosphere anyway.

Fantastic salon! Just tried salon for first time and had a great cut and color with Ted. Highly recommend the salon & Ted!

This salon has the perfect blow dry bar! My hair is very temperamental and unfortunately, I’ve had my share of not so good blow outs. I go to a very upscale salon in Miami for my cut and color, but the distance from Boca is too much to travel since I get blowouts twice a week. I’m so glad that I found Patrick Taleb because I get the perfect blow dry every time! I highly recommend Karina– She gives the same blow out as my luxury salon, and is patient and takes her time with your hair. Her personality is great, and the price is right too. I would highly recommend this salon!

I have not gone to this salon, so I do feel bad giving it a one star. However, I called to make an appointment and the lady on the phone sounded annoyed and was not very helpful at all. I canceled my appointment and took my business elsewhere.

I used to get my hair cut here a while back and let me tell you, if you want overpriced haircuts by stylists who are deaf, this is your joint. Now let me tell you, honestly, that you will get even, well cut and styled hair here, BUT, understand that the stylists in this place are notorious for doing their own thing and lightly taking your advice… You have been warned. the problem is that this place is in a busy section of Weston, and they have a good bit of arrogance to their salon and work. You will understand that much better when it comes time for you to pay. Many of the stylists here are constantly cutting rich housewife hair and are given the liberty to just go wild, so when you tell them specifically what it is that you are after, old habits die hard and there they are doing there own thing trying to make your hair into their art, but AHEM, it’s YOUR hair!
There used to be a guy there who strictly did men’s cuts in his own room, and had nice tv’s in there, but sadly his cuts went south and in the end you were better off taking your chances with one of the rogue styists in the common salon area. I had him cut my hair several times and thought that he was actually the best in there until I had to return to have him fix my cut at which time he was huffing and puffing and actually tell me «well, you could have told me that you wanted that when you were here.» (um, I did.), to which I replied «well, you could have listened when I told you the first time».
Yeah anyway, know that you are really taking your chances here and that for the outrageous prices they gouge at, it is simply not worth it.

Great salon with a men’s specialist, Brian. Brian is friendly, understanding and not afraid to make suggestions for hair style that is appropriate for a man. Patrick Taleb Salon is not the least expensive but it is a tremendous value for men’s hair style. Thank you Brian for keeping my style fresh looking.

For someone as particular as me (like you, I’ve had butcher jobs over the years) this salon is a little slice of heaven. I have been to other salons. Trust me. They don’t compare. Here, the difference is the culture. Clients are made to feel special and important. It’s all about you, you, you. They can’t do enough to please you. Not only are the stylists top notch (I always get compliments on my cut and color) but they make you feel like you’re their only client and give you their undivided attention. They don’t take personal calls or gossip with each other while they’re supposed to be focused on you (know what I mean?). I get everything done there… cut, color, treatments and Brazilians with Patrick (the owner who is fabulous), nails with Gina who’s part best girlfriend, part shrink and the best nail painter ever. Cal is great at blow outs and making your hair look sexy and the assistants who shampoo you give great neck and scalp massages. Marco is a hoot and a fantastic stylist. I’ve never used him but I have lots of friends that swear by him. And, for men’s haircuts, my sons see Brian in his own private man-​cave-​within-​a-​salon. They watch sports while he’s cutting and he even can give a real barbershop shave — hot towel and all. It may cost a little more — but you get what you pay for and always leave happy.

Not only is the salon beautiful but the staff does a great job with their clients. I regularly get my nails done here and both the quality and service are excellent. I recommend anyone who is looking to have a luxurious salon experience to check out Patrick Taleb Salon & Spa.
