I used to spend between $ 100-$ 150 month for dry cleaning and alternations. There was no specific reason to choose this dry cleaner other than it was convenient to our daily routine. I had given them our Natori comforter to be dry cleaned. It was returned to with a 6 inch rip. When I spoke to Jasmine, the owner, about it she apologized, said it would be, «fixed and cleaned,» and even she went so far as offering to have her driver pick it up. She provided her personal cell phone so I could send her the photos. I texted Jasmine a photo and two more texts to follow up all to no acknowledgement. A few days later I took the comforter in(along with at least $ 50 of new laundry and alterations) and the employee recanted what was clearly a scripted response prepared for me saying that they would stitch the comforter, but only clean it at a nominal discount. I was explaining to the employee at the front what was communicated between the owner and me and asked her to call Jasmine in front of me. I informed her that I would find another laundry place and that I felt very disrespected. Then Jasmine came out from the back and asked me, «what’s going on,» as if she had no idea of the conversation. I told her that it was weird she was standing in the back the whole time I was there. I asked why she hadn’t responded to my texts and she told me me that she, «doesn’t do business by texts(this after giving me her number)». She asked me, «tell us what you would like us to do.» I simply asked her to give back all the laundry I had just handed in and I informed them I would no longer be doing business there. I would seriously avoid this dry cleaner. Customers who spend 4 figures per year dry cleaning and who bring in expensive comforters don’t appreciate being nickeled and dimed. The owner needs to better differentiate between good and bad customers. At the end of the day this is a commodity business as there is a dry cleaner on every corner and you differentiate yourself by good service ESPECIALLY in a world of Unilocal,reviews, etc. You really only know the true character of a business on how they handle mistakes. Avoid this place at all costs.
