Wow, Kelsey is amazing! This was my first ever voice lesson and she knocked it out of the park. The first thing she did was ask me what I want to do with my voice — I had a big, long list of goals and it did not faze her :-) We then went into determining where on the spectrum my voice is and continued on from there. She could hear things in my voice I couldn’t which really impressed me. The lesson was fun — I kept cracking up whenever I hit a certain note — and I left with homework which I was thrilled about. She takes the time to explain everything — there is nothing in the lesson that is on her agenda — it’s all about you, the client. I can’t wait for my next lesson and how my voice will develop under her tutelage.

I love this place! It’s my first stop in the area for music lessons from smart, friendly teachers who know their stuff. The shop itself is small but lovely. The instrument selection is very small but DBM is more of a school than a store.
I’ve taken lessons here as an adult and taken my daughter here for lessons as well. We both had great experiences.
Highly recommend!
