Ponds mills and trees The Forge Pond Conservation Area was created in 2005 and is a nine acre parcel of land that sort of follows the Noquochoke River through the woods. Lots of water in the area and besides the river there are several ponds filled with wildlife in the warm weather and ice in the winter. The trails aren’t strenuous but they are lots of small hills so you aren’t on level ground for very far. In the winter the snow and ice makes it a bit more challenging but none of the hills are high enough to be dangerous. Forge Pond really isn’t large enough to get a good workout but there are several other conservation areas close by so you can do several in one day and get a pretty good hike. A lovely area, filled with old mills, dams and lots and lots of trees and water.

Walk around and smell nature, this place is a nice place to hang out. The waterfall is awesome to stare at and throw some branches in, ha. Not many huge open areas to sit, but you can walk around and check out the woods and ponds.
