I’m on vacation from Tampa and searched for the best hair salon in Westport to have my hair done and Paul Alberts popped up. Wow just wow! I’m so happy I found this place the staff was absolutely outstanding! Arlene was delightful Paul was so nice and Kathy at the spa worked magic! Everyone asks me why I take vacation in Connecticut usually my answer is to visit my boyfriend now I will say «to get my hair done at Paul Albert’s» and visit my boyfriend lol!

Today was my first time at Paul Albert Salon. I used the Unilocal $ 40 for $ 65 worth of services. It was easy and a great way to save! Lea cut my hair. She was great, friendly, informative, and gave a great hair cut! When leaving she provided me with some samples. I am pleased and will be returning soon!

I like this spot and there is good energy here. Who doesn’t love looking at the flowy long white drapes on the front porch while driving by? A lovely site.
Hair cutters all seem to have been there for years. It’s like a family and everyone is very nice.
Upstairs they have services like massage, facials, makeup and nails.
Plenty of parking. And a nice salon setting. Not the usual cold factory feeling one often encounters in standard salons.
Unilocal deal is a great way to try them out.

After my old hair stylist quit her job, I had to find a new hair stylist. After searching for awhile I came across Paul Albert Salon. I was pleasently surprised by the prices. So I said why not I might as well see how this goes. I had booked an appointment with Lea and my hair turned out great, already booked another appointment and can’t wait to go!

Very friendly yet professional atmosphere. Went in for a simple haircut and came out with exactly what I wanted. Lea was efficient, personable and has years of experience under her belt. I would go back again for my next haircut and would recommend to those in Westport who are looking for a new hair salon.
Used the $ 40 for $ 65 Unilocal voucher for a $ 55 haircut, which made it a more enticing deal compared to other salons in the area.

I went back! Just as awesome as the first time. The front desk worked to fit me in, which was nice, too.

Love this salon! When I got there for the first time which was last week I parked and saw what looked to be a house. And as I was slowly walking up to it thinking that I misread the address the owner Paul saw me and welcomed me in saying that I was in the right place. And as soon as I walked through the door the receptionist was very nice and had me meet Arlene my stylist and colorist right away. And I have to say that Arlene is amazing! She is a delight to be with! So happy, attentive and so funny! As a first timer to her she asked me about what my vision might be with my hair and we agreed on a certain color and cut and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out! I love my hair! I cant wait to go back! If any one is looking for a new place and a new stylist definitely come here to try it out with Arlene! You wont be disappointed!

I went to Arlene for a color refresh and a restyled hair cut and she did a superb job !
The whole experience was great, everyone was very friendly, Arlene is an excellent listener and was able to I adapt my style ideas to my hair with excellent results.

Got my hair cut with Jenn– she did a great job to fix the mess of a haircut I had and walked me through what she was doing to correct it. Finished off with a great blow out– I’m definitely coming back! To top it off Jenn is super friendly!

I have been hunting for a new salon after getting some ho hum hair cuts. Saw some Groupon deals, but the reviews for some of those salons were not great. Also, I want to be able to afford a cut at the salon if I like it. This salon was a winner. I have really long hair and the appt booker suggested Arlene as a stylist. She was great. Gave me a great cut and blow out. I have lived in Westport 22 years and I wish I found this place earlier. And they even served wine on a Friday afternoon… I will be back

I am new to the area and was looking for a new hair salon. I’ve tried other places but wasn’t very happy with the results.
People at Paul Albert’s are friendly and listen to what you want. The price is about right for a good hair cut. I love my new hair cut and I am sure this will be my new go to salon.

I totally agree with his description of a guy with great humor, warmth, love of life and gregarious personality. And more.
I dyed and cut my hair with him today and he did a marvelous job! And believe me, it was a challenge since he had to fix a horrendous carrot color I did myself (imagine that, I’m a brunette!) and my non-​professional cut they made me in Triloma (by the way).
I’m not only happy with my new look, I’m also happy because I feel I had a coffee at a friend’s house.

I followed my stylist here and travel far to keep the great look she gives me. Everyone at this salon is friendly and talented. I highly recommend stacey as well as the other talent there. If you want cheap and average go to Supercuts, you want awesome color and cut go see the folks here!

If I could simply rate the owner of this place (Paul Albert), I’d give him 10 stars! Nicest guy on the planet – warm, bubbly, loud, hilarious, and very creative. I hate a lot of people, so trust me that’s saying a lot. He creates a fun salon «family-​style» atmosphere and is constantly redecorating the place to keep it fresh and new.
He’s been doing my family’s hair ever since we moved to the area in 1995… so almost 15 years! We all go – my mom, dad, brother and myself. He cuts, colors, styles, etc. All of our friends and neighbors now go as well.
Now that I’m living in Atlanta, I don’t usually wait to go to him for my haircut and go locally. I never thought I got an over-​the-​top stylish haircut here, but it was always a basic good quality cut.
I definitely think he’s one of the better places in CT, although for some reason everyone thinks Peter Copola is the most trendy. Maybe people should realize that price doesn’t equal quality. Do your research folks – some of the stylists who used to work at Peter Coppola now work for Paul Albert, and they charge a hell of a lot less!
