I have had nothing but good experience here. The staff is very friendly and was very helpful with my very large orders. I have a very large family, and don’t always get people patient enough with my ordering process, but here I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant in nice and quaint. Pretty clean. The food is excellent. This is definitely my go to Asian food restaurant in my area. Thank you!

We had Rice Bowl yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. I had egg rolls, egg drop soup, and chicken fried rice. Each dish was better than I expected and my coworker enjoyed his meal too. The folks running the place are really nice and attentive. I’d definitely go back.

We are often slaves to our own choices… I chose to live in out here, and the Rice Bowl is the only place to try to get Chinese, Japanese and other Asian food nearby. So be it. Tried it three times. All three times it was bad. So you could say the single star represents three single stars, not just one. Listen, if you’re just a thick-in-the-middle, truck drivin’ good olé’ boy who doesn’t know any better, you may think it’s just dandy, because they go to town with that overly breaded, overly fried thing. I’ve ordered three chicken dishes(General Tso, Sesame, Sweet/Sour) and ALLTHREETIMES I could taste a distinct fishy flavor. Not to mention that a chicken dish(all three were) should have a least some identifiable chicken, not just chunks of over-fried breading. It seems a trend out in these here parts… all the Asian places go to great lengths to cut corners(i.e., where’s the meat??) and the food just ends up being terrible. Keep driving… maybe all the way to Huntersville.
