Never eat there again. Was going to cash in on its special brownie when you join their email club. The lady got pissy we didn’t order a whole meal even though we got drinks and I always tip as if I paid for any free item. Took 20 minutes to get a brownie and saw 3 tables get served eggs and stuff you have to actually cook. Portion was decent although the waitress gave us our check and took my plate with me still eating. To bad their service wasn’t good and I will never go here again. Sad thing is me and hubby has planned several times before to go here without free stuff and get a meal. Not anymore

For what it is, a truck stop restaurant, it’s good. Prices are very reasonable, and lots of menu choices. If you’re trying to compare it to other high end breakfast joints, don’t. It’s good in its own right. The service is generally friendly. Never have had a problem with that. The food is good. I had a breakfast platter that consisted of three eggs, two sausage patties, hash browns, grits, and toast. I added cheese and bacon to the hash browns. I got the eggs over medium. I was very pleased with my breakfast. My wife got the smothered biscuits and gravy. It’s her favorite thing there and she gets it frequently. Biscuits smothered with sausage, hash browns, and country gravy, topped with scrambled eggs. We’ll continue to eat here.

I came in at lunch time, was greeted promptly and sat. Waiter might be new, he was a little shy, but efficient. Food came out exactly as requested, quickly and hot. The waiter even noticed my coupon and pointed it out– despite the fact that I thought what I had eaten wasn’t covered! Folks were friendly and food was good. This is a gas station diner, and perfect for what it is.

If this experience would have been our first time here, I would never have gone back. But to be honest, everything was great until this last visit. Walked in and there were no clean tables. There were maybe 5 empty tables but none of them were bussed. The person who ended up becoming our waitress told us to «sit anywhere». I’m not going to sit at a table with someone else’s food leaving all over it. So when a table was finally cleaned we sat there and unfortunately, it was her table. I think we name was Leeinca. She was the only person not hurrying to do her job. Other workers were doing laps around this woman and she kind of glided around like she was in a slow motion montage with the world sped up around her. Whatever. We were starving. Woke up at 3:45am and it was about 9 by the time we ordered. I ordered a 3 egg breakfast with bacon, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Eggs, over medium and the bacon and hash browns both crispy. The girly ordered the stuffed hashbrowns, crispy with crispy bacon. We got our coffee and sat… and sat… and sat… About 25 minutes later, we still had no refill on the coffee but the Girly’s breakfast game out. Then part of mine. She actually slapped down the plates and walked away without asking us anything. The Girly’s hashbrowns were cool enough to not melt the American cheese slice half stuffed in them. They were also slightly undercooked. As she left, I mentioned my biscuit and gravy and asked for coffee refills. I wasn’t sure she heard me until she brought the refills a while later. Let’s see: My eggs were cooked hard and long enough that they became rubbery. The hashbrowns, instead of crispy, were almost raw and totally cold. The bacon was cold and had a layer of solidified grease on them… and no biscuits and gravy. We waited another 5 minutes before she brought coffee. Still no biscuits and gravy. Fast forward another 15 minutes and she brought over one of the saddest looking grey, microwaved, hard-tack half a biscuit with even greyer gravy. Could not be eaten. When I let her know that nothing was the way we ordered it, her response was, «Well, they cook the way they want to cook things back there», and walked off. She also took off with the toast from the Girly’s order. We had to wave down another waitress to replace the toast. This woman should just not be in food service at all if she can’t do the job, won’t try to do the job. I had them take off the biscuits and gravy but they didn’t take off the hashbrowns. Fine. Just needed to go somewhere and get some food.
