Over the years, there has been absolutely zero improvement in customer service. Once you enter the store, expect LONG lines and undertrained staff. Unless you enroll in their Shop Your Way Rewards program and request an electronic receipt, you will receive a receipt approximately 4 feet long. Very impractical in this day and age. If you’re coming here to run a quick errand, turn around and leave!

Sad excuse for a store. While there is a decent selection, many items are overpriced. But the worst part of the experience is the checkout. Insufficient staff. And they are very inefficient. Cashiers take too long with each customer. People around me were shaking their head at the frustration we all were sharing.

So disappointed at the lack of services in this location. The staff was rude when I ask questions about prices & coupons, they keep rolling their eyes between each other. I hardly shop in Kmart but seen they have some of WWE products, I end up buying it here. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t pleasant. I had a $ 10 coupon when I check my receipt they never put the coupon in my purchased, well I learn my lesson. I will NEVER come back to this store again. They need to train the staff to be more politely.

I really don’t like to leave unpleasant reviews, but I have been coming to this Kmart for years and every single time I leave frustrated. The lines are rediculous and the cashiers tend to spend way too much time on each transaction. Even when there is a long line, I have seen the cashiers engage in unnecessary lengthy conversations with there customer as if there is no pressure. And the checkout process in itself is crazy! So much info to manually enter into the system and then you have to wait for like 20 receipts to print out which you just end up throwing away anyways. What a waste of time and paper! Don’t get me wrong, I know retail sucks and it can be a tough job, and the employees are generally very friendly, just maybe need to speed things up a bit.

Seriously understaffed store. Not even the Handicap cart had enough battery life to get me through the store. Seemed to loose battery life about 4 minutes into using it. When I spoke to the store manager, He told me there was nothing he could do. There I was, unable to walk because of a broken ankle and now I had to get myself back to the front of the store. What ever happened to the store that used to care about it’s customers. Kmart needs to re-evaluate and beef up the place otherwise it is going to go downhill even faster then it already is.

Always a long line. Cashiers spend 5 – 10 minutes with each person regardless of how many items they have. I only go here if I absolutely have to.

Kmart has not been the same ever since Sears has taken over. The store is always understaffed. Only two out of the 14 the registers they are ever open. The lines at the register are usually a longer wait than is necessary. One of the most important aspects in retail is customer service and they fall flat.

The amazing thing is that the Kmart store on Rte 17 in Ridgewood, NJ. is just so much better. This store in Westwood is a nightmare. Expect to wait in line at least 20 minutes to ½ hour because they are understaffed and the registers always have some kind of problem(like the scanners don’t work). Their attempt at stocking items is sub-par, if the website says the have it in stock– flip a coin, cause they might not. Definitely make the trip to another Kmart if you can.

Shocking service, clueless staff and long wait times in the line. As I’m waiting to pay for my goods, I type this review… I think that speaks volumes. It is K-Mart and I’m not expecting the world but some modicum of customer service would be appreciated.

Low life retail store. I got a mortgage faster than it took to check out. Plus they are going green! Three feet of receipts. Rediculous place. Should have stayed bankrupt.
