They did an awesome job with my dogs and their nail trim. They were fast and cut their nails nice and short, and the dogs were quite calm compared to how they usually are when they get their nails trimmed. Whew — I think I finally found a reliable place to get some grooming. Nice and clean too — disinfected everything before they put the dogs up on the table and checked for rabies papers. Highly recommend!

I have been using Britney the owner of this business for 5 years. I bring my beagle to her once a month. She always does an amazing job with her. Britney always has a very upbeat attitude. Very nice person. She owns a nice clean business. Highly recommended!!!

Owner was a hairdresser for humans before transitioning to dog grooming, and you can absolutely tell. She is the equivalent to a Master Stylist. No kidding!

Brittany is outstanding. My dog had her first groom with Brittany today. I was there throughout! Brittany is kind and gentle, and yet my dog listened to her, and was comfortable throughout. Brittany is also very talented with coat and face clipping, and really did an outstanding job.
The shop is very clean, well lit and spacious.
Will definitely be back!

It was our first time at Pretty Pups & Mutts. The place was clean and the owner was very friendly. She asked a lot of questions about my puppy. She did a great job grooming my puppy. She trimmed all the areas that I asked for. Definitely will go back for another grooming.

Wow! The owner and staff are super friendly and its a clean place! I noticed that they care about animals because of the attention they provided them. One of my dogs was playing with the other dogs and it shows that he was comfortable, he didn’t want to leave! My other dog is older and I appreciated the fact that they put him in a cage because he wanted to be private away from the other dogs. After the service both dogs smelled lovely. I will definitely go back !! I recommend this place to everyone! A+++++++++++++++ service

I used to have Brittany groom one of my girls when she was at Petco. When I moved back to the Newington area I was excited to use Brittany again. Then I found out she opened her own place right up the street! I was super happy for her. I took my youngest there on Sunday, because honestly she is one stinky puppy. She came home so clean, excited and soft! I am thrilled that Pretty Pups and Mutts has opened. It good to see small business popping up everywhere. (I have my own too)
I will definitely go back again with my girls. Not to mention, she is a corgi lover too!

I have been taking my dog to get groomed with the owner, Brittany, for over 3 years. She recently went out on her own after being a groomer at a big pet store chain, and I followed her without giving it a second thought. I highly recommend Brittany/​Pretty Pups & Mutts because not only does she do a great job with the grooming, but also (and more importantly) she loves dogs and she makes it easy for me to leave my little side kick with her for a few hours every 6 weeks. If you are looking for a great groomer in the area, look no further! I recommend her to all my friends and family.
