We called Suzanna in Feb 2015 searching for a clean, safe, and fun to live in apartment and this is it! We were able to move in in April and got a six month lease. Since then we’ve renewed and love it. Safety from the nightly security patrol, Cleanliness on the grounds and dumpsters is clearly evident, maintenance both in the pool/hot tub, club house/gym, and in each apartment is quickly addressed and done well. Rent is appropriate for the many benefits of living here. Our apartment was renovated just before moving in and we love it. My only qualm is that some crazy drivers on 5&15 roar engines/motors on weekends but that cannot be helped. Walls are well insulated, neighbors are polite, and it is a pet friendly community but I’ve never heard a dog bark once! I’ve seen them in my building but never heard them, it’s amazing. Tennis court & dog park on site is a perk for pet people. Great place for short and long term and Suzanna always makes herself available. Will stay as long as we can before we relocate. Highly recommend.

In the February 2015, the roof of my apartment began to leak extensively. The management’s solution to the problem was placing buckets down to catch the water until spring. During the wait, the damage to the unit grew worse and damaged my personal property. In March 2015, the complex determined that my apartment was inhabitable and asked that I move out without providing me an alternative unit. The Village refused to hear my request for reimbursement for my damages. As a resolution, I was forced to bring a small claims trial. The court found the Village«liable for failure to sufficiently mitigate the the condition or afford the plaintiff(me) suitable alternative housing.» The courts findings prove that the Village at Wethersfield breached their lease by failing to uphold their end of the lease despite myself being in good standing. It’s disappointing to have a company think that they can push their tenant’s around. My suggestion would be to find alternative housing to avoid the extreme stress that living here caused me.

Our apartment flooded twice with so much water that it leaked into the apartment below ours. Both times the management inspected the carpet and decided to «just let it dry» and didn’t replace it. Then, when we moved out, suddenly the carpet was«beyond repair» and they kept our entire security deposit and billed us for another $ 400 to replace the carpet. Avoid this place at all costs.
