The best thing this ALDI location has going for it is that it’s new & clean. The recent reconfiguration of Wexford has made it particularly difficult to get into their parking lot if you’re heading south on Route 19. I have to be in the area to consider stopping here, as a result. ALDI is an odd off-brand inexpensive grocery store that also has some crazy random deals on odd items like the $ 12 Japanese Maple I picked up there last spring & yesterday they had rose bushes. You just never know. It’s fun to load up your cart with the odds and ends from the snack aisle and you can find some incredible bargains in the cheese and meat section. The pork tenderloins for under $ 4 are pretty great! The biggest issue is finding something you really like and never seeing it again in the store. ALDI gives me a reason to pull out those reusable grocery bags I keep in my trunk in case I’m in the neighborhood and decide to drop in.
