This place is fantastic. I could eat here 3 times a day 7 days week then follow it with dessert.

This is a staple for breakfast when I am in the area. Croissant breakfast sandwich with your pick of fixings. I’ve eaten at Wexford location 3 or 4 times and once at Carson St location. Both great experiences and staff pleasant as well.

I bought a red velvet cake today, pre-ordered, to celebrate the 9th anniversary of my company. I was sold a stale, expensive cake. The icing cracked when it was cut and the cake was dry. We have had this cake before and it was not like this or I would never have ordered another one. It is a shame that a bakery would pawn off old baked goods to a customer. It was disappointing to both me and my staff.

If you like dry, stale, hard unflavored cookies and desserts go here. Presentation is good but, don’t let it fool you. The macaroons were hard as cement and the cake was old and had a horrible artificial ingredient flavor.

If it weren’t for the diligence of the person making my cappuccino, this place would get one star. I want to like this place like everyone else, but I just don’t see it. I stopped in for a cappuccino and asked for it «extra extra dry». When the barista/cashier asked what that meant I got scared. It’s pretty clear they haven’t focused on training folks on how to make the cappuccinos & lattes they offer on the menu. I explained that I wanted«mostly foam» in the drink and she proceeded to start the drink. Yeah, she didn’t know what she was doing as milk was flying all over the place and she would stop, scoop the little bits of foam from the pitcher, then resteam the milk. Once milk reaches a certain temperature it spoils & scalds, but I also don’t think that was taught. She repeated this 5 – 8 times until she got foam, often refilling the pitcher. It took about 10 minutes to get my(small sized) Capp. I definitely give her two stars for effort– the ignorance is not her fault. In fact, I gave her a $ 5 tip because she was so dedicated to making the right thing. I just don’t understand the overpriced hype. It’s clear the staff hasn’t been trained and the pecan bar I got for my father was stale… Sorry dad! Stay away. And if anyone from Bartram House reads this, please train your staff.

Bartram House is hands down my favorite place for breakfast in Wexford. The Eggs Benedict Florentine is hugely proportioned and comes with a generous side of breakfast potatoes. The potatoes are crisp and are cooked with onions and peppers which was a nice surprise the first time I had it. I haven’t tried anything from the bakery case yet but I’m tempted to get something sweet every time I go in.

the Eggs Benedict are really good. The breakfast potatoes with the meal were crisp on the outside, and nice and soft inside. The onion that was mixed in with the potatoes was flavorful and nicely seasoned. The hollandaise was a bit thick, and generic in flavor, but the eggs were perfectly poached. The danish was underwhelming. There was a dollop of sweetened cream cheese in the center. I tried spreading it around, but all I could taste was powdered sugar. I hear the lemon coconut bars are pretty amazing, but… I’d pass on the danish. Breakfast gets a thumbs up.

This is a common dessert stop for the family. High end desserts and fancy cupcakes. Cool atmosphere and friendly service. Missing a star because a few of the things we have gotten there have been pretty dry. Guess that’s what the coffee is for.

Great place to chill with friends and grab brunch. The desserts are beautifully made and quite tasty. I always order the spinach, toasted walnut, feta cheese, and strawberry salad and add a grilled salmon filet. The salad is quite nice and the vinaigrette they serve with it is light and tangy. It can get crowded but the line moves pretty quickly.

I come here fairly often after church on Saturday nights with my family. When Mom and Dad come to visit, this is our go to. Walking in you get a magnificent display of their baked goods(my favorites being the flourless torte cake and the marshmallow brownie). The ambiance is that of an upscale bakery and their food is equally as good. Most of the time my family and I all typically do the half sandwich half salad deal. Their salads are very unique and creative I’m always going between the Mediterranean Salmon, Spicy Asian Chicken, and Strawberry Walnut. The bread for the sandwiches is baked fresh and tastes amazing. Lastly their portion sizes are extremely generous so come ready to eat. I would recommend coming here over a chain like Panera any day. You’ll pay pretty much the same price. Since coming here frequently, I can say the only times it can be less than ideal is that when it’s crowded it gets hectic for both the staff trying to keep people moving and availability of seating. Overall I spend way too much time and money here and I’ll keep coming back for more.

A little disappointed. Blueberry muffin had a small amount of blueberry’s. Breakfast burrito was good but pricey at 9.99.

Very cold inside during cooler months. Very hot and sun hurting eyes in warmer months. Chairs are dirty. Food isn’t as good as it was a year or two ago. Soup runny with very few vegetables in it. Macaroni and cheese tastes like boxed Mac and cheese. Staff is nice. Great location.

I go here a lot, as I live very close, and it never fails to impress. I have tried many of the menu items, and I have liked all of them, thus far. The cookies, cakes, and pastries are also good. My personal recommendations are for breakfast, either French toast or oatmeal, for lunch, the veggie melt, and as far as bakery things go, I like the scones, snickerdoodles, and I know a while back I had the chocolate(I can’t remember what it was called, but j think it had some sort of chocolate chips and mousse thing going on). The prices are okay, a tad high, but the food is good enough that they’re pretty justifiable. The outdoor seating is nice(when weather permits), since it can be crowded inside if it’s busy.

Salmon salad is awesome– s’mores bar is their best dessert BYFAR– a M U S T try!!! Disappointed with their cupcakes and cakes– have tried them on two separate occasions and both times they have been overly dry– like they have been sitting out for days. Look amazing– taste like sand. If only they would fix this, it would be an awesome spot to frequent!

So many delicious options! This bakery is great! I loved the french macaroons, which they offer in a wide variety of flavors. The cupcakes were as beautiful as they were tasty and affordable too! I didn’t try any of the soups or sandwiches they offer, but the ones I saw looked pretty good.

I have been to the Bartram Bakery several times now and have had a good experience each time. The place is a more ‘upscale’ coffee house with lots of bakery items, breakfast food and yes, coffee. The feel of the inside is quite modern, with plenty of space and tables. They also offer a small patio outside for guests. I have always found the service to be efficient and friendly. They offer scones, muffins, cupcakes, croissants, delicious bars(S’mores, Chocolate Caramel, Bourbon Pecan… etc) and a variety of cookies. I have only had the scones, but have found them really good, fresh with lots of flavor. I have tried them in the past and they have been really good. They also offer a menu of other food items on their«All-Day Breakfast Menu». I have never tried anything off this menu. The coffee to me has been hit or miss. I really like their Espresso, deep rich flavors, but some of their ‘regular’ coffees are not as flavorful to me. This is more of a personal preference than anything, so not really a negative. Overall this is a nice change from the big name coffee shops. Lots of quality items to be had.

An excellent bakery with great service and(reportedly) good food. I can’t speak for the lunch/meals but the desserts were fantastic. A bit on the pricey side but what you would expect for a more upscale bakery and café. I haven’t yet been there during warmer months but I imagine the outdoor seating is a huge plus then. My personal favorite item thus far was the chocolate caramel bar– rich, heavy and the caramel was a real winner(not the plain old caramel drizzled on top; this was the real stuff). Overall, this is a great spot to stop off for a coffee and bakery item in the North Hills, granted save a little extra cash. It can get pricey!

Happens to be my wife’s favorite restaurant, otherwise I’d probably reviewed them at 3 Stars. I’m a bigger fan of their lunches/breakfast than their pastries unfortunately. I’ve tried a decent amount of their sweets from cheesecake to donuts to bars. My favorite is probably their apple strudel and wasn’t a big fan of their cheesecake. Re: Their lunches — Depending on when you go the ingredients don’t always taste«fresh» … you’ll end up with chicken/turkey that was clearly reheated, avocado that is significantly brown, etc. They do a great filet sandwich with a horseradish sauce on a soft and delicious bun. This is probably my favorite sandwich bread they serve. The majority of sandwiches I’ve had there come on a thin dense bread that is just OK. And they really, really need to change their potato chips to anything else. Homemade, kettle chips, ANYTHING. The stale ripple chips just don’t cut it. I’ve never been disappointed during breakfast though between crepes, eggs benedict, and oatmeal. It’s a great alternative to Panera, albeit slightly more expensive.

When you step into Bartram House Bakery, it gives you this WOW factor. It looks stylish and a little bit European. The first thing you see is the beautiful display of cakes and they really do look amazing! They have such a huge variety of sweet treats that it was hard to choose. But in the end I went for 3 different slices: burned almond, flour-less chocolate and the white raspberry truffle cakes. On this particular Saturday there were 5 people working behind the counter. But still they were quite confused and disorganized. There was such a huge crowd in front of the counter that it was difficult to figure out who was waiting, who had already ordered etc. I ordered my coffee to go and my 3 slices of cake for take out as well. I didn’t receive a number so in all this crowd and confusion I guess they just completely forgot about it. I asked the waiter what happened to my order and it took another 15 minutes to get my little treat box. On a positive site though, the cakes were absolutely delicious and I would definitely come back to try more. But I do believe that they need to find a way to better organize themselves as this experience left me feeling a bit meh a bout this place.
