Cross House Garden Inn

If you ever get a chance to stay at a bed and breakfast, please do. And when you have made that choice to stay at a bed and breakfast, definitely consider the Cross House Garden inn. It truly is a remarkable place to stay.
Hubby and I needed to get away from our «normal» lives and enjoy time for each other especially before our first born arrives. We chose to come here and do not regret it at all. Dana and Dennis are the innkeepers and have a very warm and welcoming personality. We stayed in the dogwood room which was very comfortable and stocked with lavender products from the local lavender farm not too far away. She also gave a gift for our soon to be born baby boy – a lavender roller product to help him through those sleepless nights. I can’t wait to use it! The home throughout is very beautifully decorated and is truly a retreat away from thr hustle and bustle of city life. The breakfast was very good. Each day was something new and everything was delicious. Dana was extremely accommodating with breakfast preferences as well so please let her know in advanced if there are certain ways you like things cooked (for ex. My hubby likes his eggs cooked firm). Accompany that with great conversation with them and we truly have and recipe for having a great time in the area.
We were very sad to leave but we look forward to when we can (and will) come back for a very relaxing weekend.
