I think this use to be great, and their pizza and salads are really good. I use to enjoy their Shepherds pie but the last few times I got it I could not find the meat(Hamburg) I know cost go up and for something that use to be great I would spend a few dollars more to get it back. I would spend more money here if they could bring the quality back up.

let me preface this review by saying I will go back and try another sub, or pizza or a pasta dish. this review is only for the chicken parm sub. everything was fine except the chicken, it was frozen chicken tenders that were overcooked. the cheese was put on the bread, then the frozen deep fried chicken tenders were placed on top and then the sauce. not heated in the oven. i mean really, is everyone too lazy to make a proper chicken parm sub nowadays? take a nice fresh chicken breast, pound it out, dip it in egg, then italian bread crumbs and cook it in oil. is it that hard? then put the chicken in the bread, then the sauce and then the cheese, THENPUTITINTHEOVEN, ITS A HOTSUBFORCHRISSSAKES!!! the place is nice inside, reminds me of someplace in the north end. I seriously hope that the other items are better than the chicken parm. I so want to make this my go to place.

I have been ordering take out from here since it opened. The veggie pizza with pesto is very good. The buffalo chicken calzone is my favorite, and it is served with homemade blue cheese dressing. The chicken parm sub is good too because it is made with fresh mozzarella. The salads are fresh and made with a nice variety of lettuce and veggies. I would highly recommend for take out!

My GF and I recently tried this place for the first time. Sandwiches were good, but not great. Pizza was sloppy but flavor was OK. The menu looked better than it turned out being. Somewhat disappointed, We may give it another try, hope it’s better next time!

Grabbed a late lunch here today around 4PM. We split a small pepperoni pizza and I couldn’t believe how good it was, and big for a small! Actually one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of pizza! The cheese was delicious and ‘real’ and you could taste the difference. The sauce was good and not the generic tasting pizza sauce or ketchupy kind lots of places use. It was the perfect blend and had more cheese than sauce, just how we prefer it. Cooked perfectly and came out within fifteen minutes. There are a few tables and we ate it there. The staff was very friendly and the place itself was neat and clean. Needless to say this place shocked us at how delicious it was! We were just expecting average house of pizza kinda pizza but this place was way way above that. Thank god we live half an hour away bc I’d be here once a week getting a pizza.

We live right around the corner, yet have overlooked this place too many times. Tonight my son convinced me to get the family special for $ 21.95. It’s a great deal, you get 2 lg. pizzas, chicken fingers & fries & a 2 liter. The pizza was delicious hand tossed style, although I would of preferred more sauce. Crust was fresh. Cheese was ample, real, & tasty. Chicken fingers & fries were also good. My concern was freshness as I’ve also seen the place kind of dead at «prime times» but food was very fresh & well prepared. Maybe folks are reluctant to give it a try or the difficult to navigate 5 way intersection location is only reason for place not being more busy. For $ 21.95 these days, this really is a good value & taste was on point so worth a try for sure. We’ll definitely be back as their menu has some paninis & entrees that sound great and more upscale chefs creations, so I’ll check those out soon & update this review.

After having their pizza a few times, I will stick with my original review of their pizza… HOWEVER… we just tried their steak/cheese sub, and chicken wings. We thought the sub was just meh. The chicken wings had decent flavor, BUT with as much breading as they had, they steamed themselves soggy in the takeout container… not a good thing. We’ll stick with the pizza from now on.

Recently got catering from CeCe’s for a birthday party. Got the chicken marsala and the tuscan chicken. Both were delicious and tasted home made. The staff were very good to deal with. We will be heading back to CeCe’s for more catering in the future.

Easily one of the best dinners I have ever had from a sub shop was their braised beef bourguignon. It was loaded with flavor and the portion was huge. Also got their chicken pot pie and pizza which were both great as well. How can you beat a sub shop that has braised lamb, turkey chili, shepherds pie, butternut squash ravioli and all your basic subs like cheeseburgers and roast beef.

Tried this place for the first time tonight, hoping they could improve upon their predecessor(Kelly’s Frosty Village), which shouldn’t be too difficult a task given the mediocrity of THAT place. Again, I’m always confused by someone replacing a failing pizza/sub shop with embedded competition(Olympic Pizza across the street) with yet ANOTHER pizza/sub shop. God knows his state is saturated with this type of food. So on to the review. Initial impression was the emptiness of the place(dinner hour on a Saturday night, not a good sign). Not much in the way of a greeting but not exactly rude either. Ordered chicken parm w/mozzarella and pastrami direct from their menu, yet they still had questions to clarify what type of sub I wanted. Not the worst sandwiches we’ve ever eaten but unimpressive nonetheless. Bread was chewy, bordering on stale. Chicken cutlet was(surprise) the pre-frozen kind that was terribly overcooked. Mozzarella cheese was one 3 inch solid mass. Not edible. Pastrami was ok, though they forgot to add the mustard I specifically requested. All in all, we would not return. Way too many choices in the area for subs and pie. New spots should really make an effort to stand out from the crowd to be successful. Yet another Weymouth disappointment. And I’m also hearing that the horrible landmark bar Union St Chowder House next door is reopening as an Irish pub; same owner, same staff, just a new paint job and sign. Can’t wait…

My company ordered lunch from here a few weeks ago after receiving some flyers in the mail so we decided to try it. We received sloppy, sloppy pizza that was poorly cooked. The onion rings were mushy… it was bad. I will say that the pizza did not taste all that bad, but due to the inadequacies everywhere else I doubt we will ever order from there again.

CeCe’s Pizza is Columbian Square’s newest addition. They offer a variety of new menu options that the previous shop, Kelly’s Frosty Village, didn’t offer. Not only do they have the common classic subs and sandwiches, but you can request a «panini» version instead! Although my favorite so far is their meatball panini :) Their lunch combos(sandwich, chips and a drink) are competitively priced around $ 7. I’m looking forward to trying some of their unique dinner entrees, check them out!
