Cornerstone Chimney

They were great. Cleaned 2 flues. They were about $ 60 cheaper than the 3 other places I called as well. I’ll be using them next year. Also, they had more available appointments during the peak chimney sweep season.

Replied right away, accommodated my schedule and we’re very easy to work with. They were up front with pricing and no surprises! They did a great job and were in and out with no mess. I definitely recommend.

Rude! My husband had gotten in contact with them before, and they said they worked a lot with units in our condo complex. Apparently, they had asked him to speak to our condo association about acquiring a certain part for the fireplace. I just wanted someone to come out and take a look because I thought there were multiple issues. I called and left two messages and didn’t get a call back. Someone finally picked up the phone today and he was a complete jerk – very abrupt and with a tone like I was annoying him. «I can’t do anything with those units because the place that made the parts went out of business.» (He said this like it was obvious and why was I even asking?) «I can’t help you.» OK. Maybe you can’t help me, but I can help other consumers by letting them know not to bother with this completely unprofessional and unpleasant operation you’ve got going here.

These are «fly by operations» that I do not recommend to anyone. Jay and Mike showed up on time. Mike looked like he had a rough night and barely could carry himself. Chimney was «cleaned» under 10 minutes and barely inspected. Jay did not even bother looking at it and Mike, who can trust Mike? They left with my check within 20 minutes. In addition few years ago, Jay stated that I need a new liner as my chimney did not look good. Today he stated that it has no issues and extremely clean (but again, he did not even look at it). Absolutely no confidence in these guys. AVOID!

Best value of services received. They did not try to push sales of more expensive renovation ideas.
