St. Thomas Thrift Shop

Great little shop, very friendly cashier, I always feel at home when coming in. Recommended.

Was so glad when they relocated from up the street to this larger, more functional space. It once housed a Dollar General, and before that I think it was a grocery store, but nevertheless, it is now home to one of the best thrift stores in the Houston area from my perspective. I’ve been buying from these people for years, and now since I live outside of the area, I have to plan to visit on return trips.
Simply put, the selection of items they have from housewares to clothing to furniture is one of the better assortments I’ve seen anywhere. It’s not too much since the floor space isn’t all that expansive, but it certainly is one of the better selections around town. Another competing resale shop in the area is cluttered and filled with the overhanging odor of at least a decade of cigarrette smoke. Luckily that’s not the case here.
