It’s crazy how good the calamari is. Well everything is great, but the calamari just amazes me because it’s never rubbery, the breading is neither too heavy nor too light, and during happy hour you can get an order for $ 7. Very reasonable. Another positive and interesting feature is the no tipping policy. Management at Abrusci’s has decided to pay all of their staff a living wage and therefore prohibit tipping. Well done

Haven’t been here in awhile, but decided to check out the brunch, and it was great. Good selection of brunch options, we had caprese benedict, oatmeal waffle, and strawberry toast. The prices are excellent. Our waitress did a good job. Would highly recommend the Saturday/Sunday brunch.

We showed up early for our reservation and they got us right in! Our waitress always made sure our glasses were filled. I had the grilled romaine salad and lobster ravioli with shrimp. My food was very tasty!

Excellent all around. Might be our new favorite Italian place. The below items were top notch. We will return to try other delicious offerings. Full of flavor, good service and lots of specials. Outdoor seating available. This restaurant has the new no tipping policy. We found the meals to be affordable and worth every penny even with the service charge built in. We got all this and more for under $ 100. Appetizer: Italian Lettuce Wraps with chicken, sausage, beans, water chestnuts and two delicious dipping sauces. You fill them yourself at the table. Grab a fork and eat the filling right out of the bowl — there will be plenty left. Entrée: My wife ordered the salmon and substituted mashed potatoes for the fettuccine Alfredo. It was served with asparagus and a creamy flavorful cucumber dill sauce. Entrée: Famous rigatoni and sausage bake with cheese and creamy tomato sauce. Huge portion. Salad: Spinach salad with candied walnut, apple chips, feta, red onion and honey balsamic vinaigrette. Salad: Wedge salad with Gorgonzola, red onion, bacon and balsamic reduction. Dessert: Lemon cake and coffee

We went here for brunch and it was pretty tasty. The servers have some serious pride in their restaurant — when we were seated, our server asked us if we had been there before, and when we said that we had not, he went in a 5-minute spiel about how awesome Arusci’s was. It was definitely cool to see that he loved the food they prepared, but it was just a bit much. He was extremely nice, however. The drinks we ordered were amazing, and so inexpensive, too! I ordered the Lady Mule(OK, I actually ordered 3) and it might have been the best mule I have ever had. Keep it up, Abrusci’s!

My four siblings and I decided to give our mom a fabulous, never to be forgotten, surprise 80th birthday party this year and started our hunt for the perfect venue. There were so-so banquet rooms that didn’t include food, so we would have had to find a separate caterer. A friend suggested Abrusci’s because the food was good and the ambiance was great. So, I called Mr. Jay Allen Adams at Abrusci’s, and we were able to reserve the banquet room for May 21st. He spelled out everything to me, which included the price to reserve the room, taxes, service fees, etc., and what our menu options were. No money was required up front and no contract had to be signed. When the day came, we were allowed to come in early and decorate. They had the tables and buffet set up for us, and they looked really nice. They held off serving until our mom arrived and she was certainly surprised! The food was very good, and there was plenty. We received many compliments from our guests who all seemed to have a great time. Our waitress was Christine, and she managed to serve the entire room by herself. She truly was amazing. She got all the drink orders correct, and was very quick to bring whatever was needed. Our mom had the time of her life, and will not forget her special day any time soon. All of us siblings were quite pleased with the whole event and will definitely recommend Abrusci’s to anyone looking for the perfect venue for their next big affair.

Friends shared some takeout with me and dam it was good. We started with Italian Egg Rolls-WOW!!! Even a little on the cooler side(not because of them) they were EXCELLENT!!! My friends said they are even better at times. The shrimp and risotto was excellent! Finally the Rigatoni & Sausage — Fagettaboutit!!! Seriously, do yourself a favor and grab some up some week night and you will be thankful. Read to go there now and grab some more!

Great place, never been disappointed with my dish. And their bread is great! Was definitely disappointed when they took the baked ziti off the menu though.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Colorado. Not only can they practically make everything on their homemade Italian menu gluten free, it is also celiac safe. They have separate friers, bring on the calamari. Every Time I go to eat there I am made to feel comfortable and never have to worry, not to mention, their food is delicious. My boyfriend and I went there on Valentine’s Day and the when the waiter came to our table the first thing he asked is if anyone was gluten free or celiac… I almost cried. Their minestrone soup is always super yummy, my boyfriends GF chicken piccata was phenomenal and for dessert we had the last piece of a delectable GF cheesecake. Also, they offer crunchy GF bread for $ 2 that I always get, with olive oil and their fresh Parm on the side. Their food has always been great except for the steak, I would not recommend that at all & the only entrée that I have had there that was not to my liking(I’ve been there about a dozen times so far). Mine came out cold and undercooked then overcooked with too much sauce, I couldn’t eat it. My favorite is their, Smoked Turkey Panini: Smoked turkey, peppered bacon, avocado, provolone, sliced tomatoes with roasted garlic aioli, pressed to perfection — $ 11 They also offer GF waffles, pancakes & tortillas for Sunday brunch, yum! The people have always been super nice, regardless if we went for lunch, dinner, sat at a table or in the bar. And they have always always treated my celiac disease with respect. Thank you :)

We have several times now utilized their catering service for a get-together. Each time, the food has been surprisingly delicious. Excellent raviolis. Thanks for the great service as well.

Held a retirement seminar here this past week. This is a great place. Great room, great service, great food. This is a great place for dinner, party’s, banquets or seminars. Sausage and peppers and fried/baked(not sure, don’t care) ravioli??? are to die for!

The farfalle al fresca pasta was ‘sop up the juice at the bottom of my bowl with a slice of fresh bread’ delicious! The bruschetta was so full of flavor. The best damn sandwich was so tasty and true to its name. We even enjoyed 2 pom lemonades. They were super busy on a Thursday lunch which our server said was typical. The service was a tad slow because it was so busy but the food was worth it!

UPDATE! The General Manager contacted me yesterday and we had a wonderful conversation. It was constructive and informative on both sides. We’re going back, and will have an opportunity to meet with him personally. I’m looking forward to it, as the menu is remarkable! Ken Hutchison 303−809−5345

Always dependable, friendly waitstaff(Jose), unique dishes, innovative, and not just another red sauce and pasta place. Vegetarian friendly. The roasted garlic dipping sauce is very good!

Service is horrible since switching away from a tip based restaurant. We were in no rush but an hour to get food when you and one other table is in the restaurant

Ordered to go and the food was amazing. Quick and tasty gluten free options and a wonderfully pleasant staff! The family that owns the restaurant are absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. I was surprised to read a single negative review. We will be back again soon! Top notch! *****

I was in town for the night and I was in the mood for Italian. This place was great. The portions were a good size. For some reason the tipping policy is controversial, but it really works for me. I am all for restaurants that take a stand to help their team out. This could go both ways. Tipping is to insure proper service, but it is also not fair that places only psyche servers $ 2 an hour. Our service was great and was worthy of 20% He food is the real reason we went so it’s not really worth discussing a few extra dollars. If you are looking for Italian and want a local, great family meal then this place is worth the stop.

The three strikes rule has officially been applied. #1. Food poisoning about 2 years ago after eating a pasta dish with shrimp on it. I thought the shrimp tasted less then fresh but erred on the side of «I’m starving.» Poor decision making on my part. Did not go back until #2. #2. Stopped in with my padre last winter on our way to the mountains and had impeccably rude service in the bar. Clearly we were not regular enough customers to provide basic customer service to during a time of the night, when they were not busy enough to be able to use this as an excuse. We were debating about bouncing when they finally waited on us; regardless, we did not merit drink refills or even bread with our meal. They were so rude to us, I was literally embarrassed as someone who had brought a guest there. #3. Tried them tonight for a small catering order. Had not been back since #2. Requested order to be ready at 5pm when ordering via phone at 3:30p. Thankfully I was running late, because when I showed up at 5:25p I was told the order wasn’t ready yet. Damn near a half hour after requested catering time. Wtf? Really? So that’s it — Abrusci’s you’re as dead to me as a friend who moves south of Hampden.

Abrusci’s Famous Rigatoni and Sausage — get it baked. So, so good. I also love their bread and garlic oil stuff they bring out as an appetizer. The prices aren’t bad($ 10-$ 15), but I’ve only eaten here for lunch.

We went here last night because I’d read that they have lots of gluten free options(they do!). Our waiter was great and very cautious in dealing with food allergies. When he didn’t know an answer, he made sure to ask. One thing I asked about and hadn’t seen mentioned in other reviews is that they cook all their pasta in the same pot, gluten free or not. They said they could arrange to do it separately but I didn’t end up taking the risk. Definitely important to know and ask about if you have Celiac, though. My boyfriend loved his gluten-filled meal, for what it’s worth, and I actually got to eat bread with my meal, which never happens!
