Apple Ridge is a great favorite restaurant. It serves delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. I like it because my uncle works there, big meals, and I go with my family. My friends like Chipolata, while I like Apple Ridge. My uncle owns Apple Ridge so I have a great time seeing him. I also know all of the employees. I love to joke with them and have a good time. It’s fun to see them each time. Their big meals really interest me. These big meals convince my parents to stay longer each time. Their delicious meals over take me and I can’t stop devouring it. My little brother always gets messy from the big meals. The best part would be spending time with my family. We spend time with each other and laugh. Also we barely go out to eat so this is a great chance. Sometimes we have contests of who can eat the most in ten seconds. We also joke a lot with my family and uncle. This restaurant is the best by far to any other restaurant. I want to go as much as I can. If you go here it will be a favorite restaurant, I know it’s mine.

The wait is chaotic! No room, no real order to things, you kind of have to guess your way through it. It’s an akward wait… for sure. Once your seated, the benches have completely lost all the padding… and your tush will feel it! The bathrooms are super sketchy, you have to leave the restaurant and walk to the side of the building, kinda like a gas station. We ordered a breakfast meal and 2 sandwiches. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. The bubble guts started with the first few bites. The sandwiches were good enough to finish but certainly nothing special.

Yes it’s not the fanciest place I the work but food is good. I love the blueberry pancakes. Their potatoes are delicious crunchy on outside. My oldest loves the strawberry pancake. My kids love to go here after school. Only bad meal we ever had here was the French dip other than that everything us tasty

I have been there a couple of times for early morning(0600am) breakfast and plan on returning. Good portions, flavor, and friendly waitstaff.

I’ve been coming here for years! So happy that they now take debit/credit cards as I don’t always carry checks or cash. The place is always packed on the weekends, so be prepared to wait because the restaurant doesn’t seat a ton of people. The food is excellent, and I love their green chile. My kids rave that the pancakes are the best on earth! The food has always been hot and fresh, and comes out pretty quickly. The prices are all under $ 10 bucks. The only complaint I have about the place is that some of the older waitresses that have been there a long time are really rude and unfriendly.

Food was good, service was great, and price was excellent! We had breakfast for dinner. A must see for those who aren’t looking to spend a ton for a good value.

First thing I noticed was the rather aggressive waitress. Sits us down, throws down a couple of menus then immediately asked what we wanted to order. Second thing, she comes by to refill the coffee, then says if I need some more and she’s not around, I can get it myself. Then there’s the food. Kinda hard to screwup a BLT, but they did. The bacon was the toughest I think I’ve ever had. For $ 7.00 for a sandwich, you’d think they’d show a little creativity.

Can not say enough good things about the Apple Ridge Café, a classic Americian-style diner. Arguably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Try the farmer’s breakfast for $ 10 and you will never visit a blue-roofed diner again. Service is friendly, Renee our waitress was extremely accommodating and the food comes out really fast and piping hot. Prices are fair and the diner fare is excellent — the building is a bit dated and worn, but don’t let that fool you for a moment. I’ll take aged décor over jacked-up prices any day. Finally ventured off the breakfast menu(after eating there 2x in a week) and I can swear by the burgers too.

I will say right up front that the breakfast we received was a very big portion and we really had no issue with the food or the service. I am only giving two stars though because of the atmosphere. It was a Sunday at approx. 11a. m when we arrived. The place was already extremely crowded and there is really no where for waiting customers to be other than right in the doors as you walk in. People were milling about everywhere, and the servers coming out of the kitchen with dishes had to negotiate through the crowd. It was very uncomfortable with only a few chairs to even sit and wait. The entire restaurant is overwhelming loud with almost no let up in the noise level even once we were seated. The servers were obviously overworked and rushing around everywhere which to me made our visit very uncomfortable. If you go for the food I would say yes, go indeed. If you are going for a quiet«relaxing» breakfast, forget about it. That won’t happen. We did get a space but even the parking area was small and very crowded. There is s big empty field right next door to their east. If they are that busy they should consider purchasing some land and expanding. At the very least add on an addition that gives customers a better place to wait for their table other than right in the midst of all the action taking place from the kitchen.

Not the newest place around. I’ve come here for years, great family diner! The only place I know around where you can get this delicious dish called a Ruben burger.

I really like this place a lot. Coming from back East I miss the availability of true diner style/greasy spoon restaurants(independently owned and operated, not corporate ran franchises that bring the«food“down to the absolute lowest common denominator– except for Waffle House. There’s always going to be a special place in my heart for WH). Appleridge Café certainly is not a fancy place, it does not attempt to try to be some bistro that it isn’t, and the prices are very reasonable– until you get to the sides. Truth be told stick to what’s offered with the meal you order because they HOSE you on sides. I’ve never been sat down at a filthy or sticky table, i’ve never had rude service, i’ve had to wait minimal amounts of time(10ish minutes) on Saturday and Sunday morning when they tend to be packed, and I’ve never been served a meal that was inedible or that would make me think twice about ordering it again.

Awesome local vibe. Usually at least a 20 minute wait on weekends. Good, homestyle cooking… super yummy!

Solid food and friendly service! We were hungry post July 4th celebration and hit up the café during the late morning rush. Even though there were six names in front of us, we were seated within 15 minutes. Even though there was a palpable rush in the air, the waitresses kept cool and friendly. Samples the breakfast chile rellano and the jr. farmer’s breakfast which included one egg, two strips of bacon, and two pancakes. Both were satisfying. The restaurant is small and the bathrooms are located outside, which threw me for a couple of minutes! Nice neighborhood joint!

One of the best breakfast places in Wheat Ridge, and it’s served all day. Apparently they also have really good Mexican food as well, but I’ve only had the green chili.

I would really like to tell everyone to stay away from this place; especially people who enjoy late weekend breakfasts. That way my wife and I can shorten the wait time for a table. However this place is really, really good and it’s only busy because they have nailed the breakfast thing down. It’s worth the wait. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and split a cinnamon roll with my wife. I would absolutely order the same thing again, but I’m curious to see if the rest of the menu is as good. The staff is quick and they don’t mess around getting your food out and the tables turned. The hustle is impressive and appreciated by the people waiting for their turn.

The hubs and I drive by all the time and decided this morning was the day to try breakfast here. We pulled into a full parking lot and expected an hour long wait. We put our name on a list and within ten minutes were seated at our table. Service was hustling! I ordered the green chili and cheese omelet and the hubs got the breakfast burrito with chorizo. After we got our food arrived we realized we forgot to order a cinnamon roll. The waitress zipped past our table and laid a perfectly warmed roll without missing a step. The cinnamon roll was a perfect example of a cinnamon roll and we ate the whole thing. The omelet was fantastic and my only negative was the green chili was a little on the salty side. On the side were fantastic hash browns that were crispy and made with chunks of potato. The breakfast burrito was enormous but also tasty. Again the green chili sauce was a little on the salty side. Our waitress said barely twenty words but that’s ok because she was still very nice. It’s a café on a Sunday morning and service was fast and tasty. We will be back!

Awesome place to eat. The staff was friendly and quick. We sat down and within two minutes our order was taken and within 10 our food was out and super fresh. Don’t know how they cooked so fast. But it was just great. Recommend it everyone in the area.

Nursing a sore throat, I asked for a single scoop of ice cream — but they ended up charging me 60% more for a sundae because they dribbled the bowl with a touch of choco sauce. Really? But even more annoying was the attitude I got when pointing this out when paying. «That’s they way the owner wants it.» said the beluga-like armed woman. Did I harpoon her sister? To be fair, I’d probably be a bit pissy if I had blown my life working at a crappy diner in the armpit of Wheat Ridge where judging the ages, the avg. customer actually ate at the last supper. I’ll not be visiting again, but I’m sure they won’t care given the endless supply of morbidly obese geriatrics who fuel up here before heading to the scooter check out at WalMart. And by the way, you purveyors of premium sundaes: I never got a cherry on top. Check with the waitress/cashier. She probably has a whole tree up her ass.
