Beds-N-Biscuits

I wanted to comment on a couple of these postings that were less than complimentary. We also boarded our dog over New Years as one other reviewer had done. I totally understood that there would be a change in their regular hours and also in drop off time because of the holiday. I didn’t feel inconvenienced by it at all after I understood the reasons for the hour changes.
We went on a cruise a year ago and were to leave our dog here. Shortly before leaving, he developed kennel cough in spite of having been inoculated only a month before. My vet said that occasionally, the shots or nasal don’t take. I couldn’t in good conscience leave him at BnB with good conscience to possibly infect other dogs and made other less convenient arrangements. But, at any time a dog can be re-​exposed and contaminate other animals or become sick itself. The kennel was not at fault, they check shot records vigilantly. Your dog could have been exposed even during a walk or a trip to the dog park.
Our little 19 lb JACK has always come home healthy and exhausted and over the past 8 years, I have had no qualms about referring people and pets to this kennel, and I belong to several online groups where people have been happy with my recommendations. Keep up the good work!

Used to be a great place. However, their hours are incredibly inflexible especially during the holiday season. Closing at 4 PM on certain days is a little ridiculous with a business that involves traveling and leisure. You should at least be able to have the option of paying a little bit more for a later pick up time especially if it’s within the hour of closing. We are leaving on Saturday and were forced to drop our dog off TODAY by 12. Pretty ridiculous. I am from out of town visiting and I’m not super happy that I won’t be able to spend as much time with my dog as I’d like because of the inflexible hours. We’ve been coming here for YEARS, but not anymore.

I dropped my dog Waylan off to stay for 4 nights last week at Bed N Biscuits. My boyfriend picked him up this Monday and this morning he started coughing heavily and spitting up. It has progressively become worse, so I decided to call the vet. She said his symptoms sound like kennel cough. I took him in and he was diagnosed with kennel cough and is now on meds. He got his bordetella shot in March, but apparently that doesn’t necessarily stop a dog from contracting kennel cough. It usually takes 5 – 7 days to show symptoms and that’s the same time range it has been since we picked him up. I thought this place was great, including the bath he got before he came home, but I will not be bringing Waylan back their since he was obviously exposed to Bordetella.

I took my mom’s puppy there on super short notice when pet-​sitting at my house fell through because my dog would not tolerate the puppy’s energy level. The staff was so friendly and Lucy had an amazing time! She will be a regular daycare attendee now that we know she enjoys Bed and Biscuits so much! Thanks!

Leaving pets behind is always hard, but Beds and Biscuits makes it a lot easier! We have been using them for almost two years now, and have never had a problem. Our dog absolutely loves the place– the staff is always happy, friendly, and helpful.
I remember when we first moved to Denver and we were looking for a place to board our cockapoo. Everywhere downtown wanted me to bring him in for an interview. Wait a sec, shouldn’t we interview the place caring for our pets?! I thought this was just nuts, and didn’t have time in case our dog wasn’t «worthy» or their kennel to find another place! Luckily, a coworker recommended Beds and Biscuits, and we were able to see the facility and meet the staff. Their rates are very affordable, including the extras like a wash and a brush.
Strongly recommend this amazing place — they’ll take care of your furbabies right!

We’ve taken our dog here twice for weekend stays when we went out of town. She came back happy and clean and exhausted from playing. Would recommend.

As a veterinary professional, I have to say that I am completely appalled by «Beds N Biscuits.» Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, «Beds N Biscuits» had 168 dogs at their kennel and 1 kennel tech working. This is a completely unacceptable ratio of dogs to kennel workers and could potentially jeopardize the health and welfare of the dogs in their care. Furthermore, «Beds N Biscuits» does not take the time to get to know the dogs when they come into their care. Asking owners simple questions about their dogs normal behavior at the time of drop off could help alert kennel workers to when a dog needs veterinary attention. With that said, it would be impossible for one person to really monitor 168 dogs and accurately note behavior changes… However, the people that «Beds N Biscuits» hires are paid minimum wage (to the best of my knowledge) and have absolutely no concept of proper animal husbandry, very limited knowledge of dog behavior and even less knowledge on the normal parameters of a healthy dog. I can’t in good conscious recommend this kennel to anyone; family member nor veterinary client alike.

We have used them often for both boarding and doggie day care. Well run organization and the dogs seem to like it there. Would love to see them add webcams. Great boarding rates and I have told others about this place and they now go there too.

I spoke to the manager, and things seem to be resolved! She really was very nice about the whole situation and seemed to take things seriously. We have booked another dog sleep over!

best groomer I have been to for my 2 toy poodles. They don’t get nervous coming here and everytime I pick them up they look so great! prices aren’t bad for grooming. I pay around 70 – 80 depending on how long there hair is for both dogs to get groomed which isn’t bad. I used to pay at other places 100 – 120! For price and staff friendliness this company gets my recommendation!

We have brought our recently adopted young Border Collie mix here and he loves it! Affordable, friendly, and clean.
The staff was very helpful over the phone when I initially called for information. We set a date to bring our guy in for a doggie day care day. He was excited to arrive and the staff was excited to meet him! When I picked him up he was still excited and happy but very pooped out, just what we hoped for.
We also boarded him here for 3 nights a few weeks later. As I said we recently adopted him and we were really nervous about leaving him. They were super friendly and patient with my crazy concerns and phone calls in the days leading up to his stay. I was able to call while we were gone to check-​in and they were friendly and detailed about his mood and playtime with the other dogs.
You can only pick your dog up between 12 – 2 on Sundays if you don’t want to pay for the full day so we arranged for a friend to pick him up since our flight wasn’t until evening. After landing in Denver I received an email from Beds-​N-​Biscuits containing his report card! How cute. Similar to a child care center they provided information on his demeanor and interaction with other dogs while he stayed and how he ate and seemed to feel.
We will definitely be back!

We have been taking our APBT to B&B for several years now for both daycare and boarding. Super friendly staff, nice clean facility, good prices. He always comes home happy and TIRED. …never worry for a moment when Mr. Doodle Paws is here… HIGHLY recommend.

I thought this place was ok. I wish I had read all the unfiltered results before bringing my dog to daycare here. The facility was good and clean, and the staff was very friendly. I just didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have an indoor facility and just boarded all the pets in separate kennels when the weather turns sour. I am sure they are great for boarding, but for daycare I prefer my dog in an environment where she can play even if the weather is bad. If I wanted her in a kennel I would have just left her home in her crate all day.

Its about time I give a Unilocal out to B&B — I have used these folks for years and they do a terrific job — I have a keeshond and poodle who kennel together (inseparable they are) however now my poodle is too old and stays with us always — but my kees loves B&B! He comes home exhausted and sleeps for days afterwards — I keep him separate from the other dogs when I kennel him just becuz I’m overprotective but he just squeaks when he gets home cuz he’s barked so much from fun! I won’t use anyplace else — seriously. The BEST.

I just want to update my review because I still board my delicate flower mini-​dachshund here and still get crap from my other half about not being willing to try anywhere else. Staff is great, and really pays attention to your pup, prices are ridiculously reasonable too!

These guys are awesome. It’s very reasonably priced and they’re always accommodating. When I pick up my dogs, they whine because they don’t want to come home so they must be having fun!
I’m so glad I found this place. It is a little hard to find but it’s right off the highway which makes it easy going to the airport, out of town, etc.

We started taking our Boxer/​Mix Baxter there a few months ago one day a week. Then we had him there for a week during our wedding. He loves it and so do we! Its easy and reasonably priced.

We have five dachshunds, and are sort of ridiculously attached to them. That said, we would never board them anywhere else. Ever.
The staff is amazing and caring, the dogs come home exhausted and happy from playing, they recognize us and our dogs even though we hardly go anywhere and need to board them. None of our dogs have ever been hurt or sick — they have separate play areas based on dog-​size — and if there was ever an injury or illness, their go-​to vet is Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, which is an amazing vet.
Their prices are great, the owners live on-​site, and the level of care that each member of staff shows the animals is remarkable. The place is clean, and a little off the beaten path but well worth it.

I have been taking my two crazy mutts here for about three years. All three of us agree; there is no better doggie boarding biz in Denver!
There are so many good things to say I don’t know where to start. The staff is AMAZING. Although my monsters weigh in at a combined 150lbs and are full of energy when they walk in, the staff is always eager to welcome them and treat them as friends. That is the easy part for the B&B staff. The hard part is dealing with me. I have to admit I am one of those needy dog owners. The staff is always patient and willing to listen to my concerns. They happily give the latest news about the dogs when I call from out of town.
The dogs play in yards based on their size, so all of you out there with tiny pups can be assured they will be taken care of as well as my giants. The dogs have indoor kennels for sleeping and resting. All the amenities are covered; beds, toys, food (you may bring your own if your friend has special dietary needs). The facilities are always clean and orderly. Bed-​N-​Biscuits provides tours. I highly recommend you go and check them out. You won’t be disappointed.
Oh, and the most important thing! The dogs come home tired and happy.
