Swiss Flower Shoppe

My husband recently surprised me at work with an absolutely beautiful arrangement of flowers. They were lovely, not just the standard roses or daisys.
I was very pleased with the flowers, they continued to bloom for over a week (at work and then another several days when I brought them home).
My only complaint is that the advertising postcard that was stuffed onto the flower arrangement was larger than the card from my husband. Trying to ‘Sell me more’ later significantly detracted from the initial inpression and enjoyment of the product which had already been purchased.
A business card sized advertisement might (MIGHT) have been ok, it would have been less tacky. But as it was, the overly large advertisement created an extreamly Off note in what was otherwise a lovely moment. without that — I would have given 5 stars.
MY recommendation if you are ordering these flowers for delivery to a loved one — request that they not use the opportuinty to put their message in front of yours.

This was the happiest accident I’ve stumbled across in quite some time! On my way to a friend’s home for a dinner party, I made the spontaneous decision to grab some flowers. I saw the word «flowers» and I whipped into the parking lot.
They were closed, but they let me in. I told them the amount I wanted to spend, and Heidi, the owner, created a unique, beautiful bouquet to take to the host. The store is totally incredible. They have Lampe Berger, for God’s sake! There are tons of one of a kind gifts, lovely salespeople, and amazing blooms.
Skip the grocery store next time you need flowers. Get something special.

I am from out of town and needed to order flowers for a graveside service for my mom. I called Swiss Flower Shoppe and asked if they could do something like I wanted, emailed them a picture of an arrangement I had in mind and they did a beautiful job! At pickup, my brother wanted something added to the arrangement and they were happy to accommodate. I heard nothing but compliments from the rest of the family as well. The next time we visit, this will be our stopping point for flowers!

Any time is the perfect time to shop at the Swiss Flower Shoppe. There are many unique ideas. I love looking at all the beautiful things and than seeing the smile on the face of the person I surprised with an awesome gift. Now that the holidays are near I suggest making your first shopping stop here and save yourself all that extra time. Your family will love you for it. The troll beads are beautiful!

I thought I’d support a local flower shop for Mother’s Day, but I won’t be coming back here again. It’s a nice enough place, packed full of goodies and such, but god forbid you ask how much a flower arrangement is and what sort of flowers they have. «I’d like an arrangement.» «Of flowers?» «Well… Yes. What sort of flowers do you have?» «We have flowers (gestures behind me).» «Alright… (lady, as she never gave me her name, looks at me impatiently) how about lilies?» «We have all sorts of lilies.» «What kind do you have?» «(lady huffs and strides over to the store area behind me to pick through and tell me what she has).» It would’ve been nice to get an explanation of how the whole deal worked, but I guess I’m not privileged to such information. I feel like I should’ve apologized after asking such things and being belittled for my small knowledge base on flowers and arrangements. Also $ 21 for a small vase and 3 lilies?! Are these famous lilies grown from famous dirt?! Put into a hand blown vase made by someone equally as famous as the dirt and flowers?! Highly unlikely. Which sums up my chances of ever going back here.

This store is worth the drive from Denver. It is such a cute not so little shop with tons of home and gift items, an amazing selection of Trollbeads and hold onto your hats – free cupcakes!
There are a myriad of themed rooms according to décor that are literally filled with inventory. To be honest, I primarily am there for the Trollbeads and have only wandered around a few times, so my memory or how many rooms or what they contain is slim. They have an awesome fairy garden section where you can purchase ones that are pre-​made, or create your own and add whatever accessories you would like. My daughter did a combo and picked one out that was completely adorable, with amazing lavender, succulents and a sweet little house with a wooden fence.
The floral section is adjacent to the beads, so I have the luxury of watching what goes out the door and am impressed with their arranging skills. The Trollbeads are an awesome line that was the original bead line – not Pandora as many people assume. They hand blow glass beads with Murano glass and create their molds for the beads from wax. The selection here is incredible and it is such a fun store to hang out and shop.
The staff here is amazing. Heidi, the owner, is hands on and there almost every time I stop by, which is frequently these days. It is definitely a family run operation, as I have also met her husband and son. Leah and Gerry are two other helpers who could not be more kind. I truly enjoy giving them business and highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area, or making a little trip if you need a gift idea.

Wow this place just goes on and on! There are so many rooms, you have no idea! The florist part seemed to be only a small part of the layout. Most of the store was full to the brim of feminine and funky home and garden décor. They have accessories like bags, scarves and jewelry too. A lot of the things were not my style but my mother-​in-​law wants everything in there. The prices seemed a little high to spend on myself but I will definitely remember this place for gift shopping. The staff was nice and they had free cupcakes!

I love going here and getting new pieces for my home. They have a great selection of flowers, garden art, and decorative pieces for your home. During the weekend, they usually provide snacks for shoppers. All of the staff that I have dealt with have been very helpful. I also find that the prices are fair and affordable on most of the items.
