The Book Stop

I live by this bookstore so I stopped on. Huge selection of books at pretty good prices, if you are in the area I ft is totally worth stopping!

This place is well-​organized, clean and there are lots of books here in order. The owner was friendly and very helpful. He helped me find the book that I was looking for within 30 sec lol !
I couldn’t buy many books because I was traveling, but I’ll definitely go this place again when I visit Denver later.

Visited the shop for the first time on a trip visiting family. Was a little overwhelming at first just because of the sheer quantity of books, and but after about three minutes we were in heaven! The owner is very knowledgeable about what he has in stock and very willing to help my 8 and 10-​year-​old girls, my 17-​year-​old son, and myself. We only saw about 10% of the store in the hour we were there, but what an awesome hour! We will definitely be back!

Very friendly, TONS of books, well-​organized. This is a gem of a store! Books for kids, adults, teens, and everyone else. If you are looking for a book, go here before anywhere else!

This place is great. It’s very affordable and I have found many fantastic deals on books I didn’t expect to find. It’s a bit cluttered but it adds to the charm. You will never go into the same bookstore twice here. Always something new! I was really surprised but the newer titles they have too for so cheap. The owner is friendly and very helpful. I’m a fan!

Lots of classics as well. Huge fiction section. As well as, many specialty books from cooking to wake boarding.

I wish I would have found this place sooner. It’s the greatest used bookstore I’ve ever stepped into. At first it seems overwhelming because the store itself isn’t that big and the books are floor to ceiling, but it is extraordinarily well organized. The sections are categorized, subcategorized, even alphabetized!
The owner, who is super sweet, must be some kind of genius for getting so many books in such a little place without it being a chaotic mess! It’s easier to navigate than Barnes and Nobles and has a genuine collection of quality new and old books. AND, even more impressive than the organized variety is that the owner actually knows her inventory. As I browsed, several customers came in looking for a specific book and she knew if she had it and exactly where to find it…
(Did I mention I was there for over 2 hrs and only left because it was closing!?!)…
I’ll be back, and you should GO, and STOP looking for a decent bargain bookstore!

Updated! Whatever the smell was I remembered from years ago, it’s gone now. All I smelled when I went back to visit was old, glorious book smell. You know, the reason that you buy BOOKS instead of apps? Because you can bury your nose inside a book and smell that BOOK SMELL.
I went in looking for some new series. The lady behind the counter (owner?) was so helpful, suggesting a bunch of new series for me to try based on what I like. I got a bag o’books again for $ 30. Cheaper than Amazon, and you get to support a local business.

This is the BEST used bookstore I have ever found! It’s very small and cramped but a *goldmine* of out-​of-​print used books at very good prices!
It’s literally a maze to navigate the close-​cramped shelves and stacks of hard and softcover books but the selection here is extraordinary and you are likey to find some very rare gems here. I found my wife a hardcover first edition of Big Trouble signed by Dave Barry in excellent condition with dust jacket for only ten bucks! I also found another out-​of-​print rare hardcover here for only $ 7.50.
The lady/​owner was extremely helpful and located some Time Life Mysteries of the Unknown books we were looking for. We had them already but it was good to see that they have them.
You could literally spend hours and hours searching in this tiny little bookstore that feels cozy and comforting surounding you with walls and walls of old lost books from ages past. Truly a treasure trove bookstore if there ever was one! We just happened to be driving by and saw it and it was the best little discovery in quite some time!

Go here! The owners are super friendly and nice. Keep in mind they don’t accept cash payments under $ 10. The neat thing is that you can search their inventory online before you go.
It’s full of nooks and crannies and tight spaces, and books are EVERYWHERE. And that is what makes it fun. It’s clean and bright, and the prices are very reasonable. Seriously, treat yourself to 30 minutes of straight browsing, then maybe buy something. I swear, that place is good for your soul.

I love this little place! I’m a frequent shopper, I always leave with a bag of books. The selection is amazing!!! I have a nook, and I use it often, but I cannot resist filling my shelves with actual books, and the prices here make it easy to do!

If you like used bookstores you’ll be drooling like a Dog de Bordeaux when you enter The Book Stop. There are thousands and thousands of books stacked up on little shelves all over the store. Luckily the aisles are pretty well labeled and the books are segregated by category.
I came across a few books that I have been looking for, including one that has gone out of print and is hard to find. Most were about $ 2.50/each. One of the great things about this store is their inventory is on-​line, so you can peruse the shelves from their website, or the store manager can look up titles for you.
I tried to sell about a dozen books here but that part was not as good. They took half of them and I only collected about $ 3. I guess used books are a dime a dozen these days. This place is a quick trip of off I-​70 and is easy to find. I highly recommend it.

So I’m on my way to cancel Comcast, which is a fiesta or three for me, and of course they put their payment center out in the middle of nowhere on 44^th Avenue right before I-​70 and the foothills. Screw convenience.
No sign of wheat, anywhere. I wasn’t expecting much. Not even a Seven-​Eleven for Milk Duds and a Slurpee.
On my way back from a successful service cancellation, I saw the red sign and I stopped. After all, it did say BOOK STOP. So I did. In the middle of the road on 44^th Avenue. Cars swerved around, honking, flipping fingers — but the force field of the almighty Book Stop had mesmerized me. Plus, it was Friday.
This tiny place houses over 75,000 books. I felt like a nerd in a candy store of sheer knowledge.
I found my second grade favorite mystery, The Adventures of Cam Jansen, in this store. For seventy-​five cents. Don’t ask how or why I remember such things, but I do. Not to mention, all the newest releases including Mark Haddon’s The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-​Time.
The owners are an added deee-​light. From audio CDs, to classic cassette tapes, to children’s books from when you were a child, to the latest autobiography from what’s-his-name-conniving-politician, this store is a must-​visit for any book lover.
I promise, you’ll never see Borders, Tattered Cover or Barnes and Noble ever the same.

This is my favorite used book store! It may be small, but they have had every book I’ve looked for. Whats even better is the prices. Every book is half the publishers price or CHEAPER! This is the place I go to get all my books for school. They have cookbooks to diy to biographies. Be sure to check this place out!
