The Tubs Coin-Op Laundry

Worst laundromat I’ve ever been in. Nobody likes to go do laundry, but like everyone else, I like clean clothes. I went in, loaded my washer, added the soap and put the coins in. The triple load washer started right up, but there was no water. After about 5 minutes of their version of «dry cleaning» I went to the office door and knocked. When I roused the employee who was hiding in the back and told him my problem, he started yelling at me that it was my fault and I was a bad man. I calmly explained to him that I used to work on commercial laundry equipment, and that most likely he had a bad hot water valve in the washer. I added that if he had one, I would help him install it. he kept yelling louder and louder, much to the amusement of the other customers in there at the time. Of course after changing the setting to cold water, it washed my clothes in cold water. He refused to give me a refund, and told me to never come back there again.
Really? After the way he treated me, I would ever consider going back???

The dryer in my apartment complex broke, so I found this place not far from where I live. It was pretty deserted at 8 PM on a Friday, and the sign on the door gives the hours as open until 10 PM every day. It was $ 1.75 to wash and 25 cents for every ten minutes on the dryer. The washers seemed to be in good shape, and the dryers, although a little grimy, seemed to be in decent repair. The countertops and surfaces for folding seemed to be clean, but the floor was absolutely filthy; I could see mop tracks in the dirt on the floor! Don’t drop anything you’re washing or you’ll have to wash it a second time. There are a few places to sit, but many of the chairs are broken and the sofa is pretty busted.
TL;DR: it will do in a pinch and it’s open pretty late, but I wouldn’t make this place my first choice.

Our first visit here we did a weeks worth of laundry, and spent more money here washing then we have at other places. Well tonight we washed a load at our complex, but didn’t want to use the dryer because it smelled so bad. So we took our one load to dry them here, and while waiting for it to dry, an employee came out and told us not to use their dryers. I said what? And he said «You didn’t wash it here, don’t use our dryers.» Fine. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN.

This laundromat needs a good cleaning, the floors and walls are scuffed and there are cobwebs on the light fixtures. HOWEVER, the machines are clean and smell good (no mildewy smell in the washers and no burnt smell in the dryers) and the prices are good. There are many machines of all different load sizes which is convenient.
Even with the needed cleaning I will return to this laundromat and would recommend it for others.
