Yum Yo

They are closed now. The signs are gone and the space is empty. Not surprising, since they were closed a lot recently.

This place is pretty good. They have a nice selection of yogurt flavors and fresh fruit to top it.
One unfortunate down side is the cigarette/​tobacco smell from the smoke shop next door.

Dealbreaker: A hair in the strawberries, cigarette smoke in the space (apparently from the adjacent liquor store/​smoke shop) and an otherwise nice college kid who wouldn’t refund my money.

The facility was nice, but the product is horrible. I’ve been there twice, 5 months apart. Both times, every flavor of yogurt I tried was super sweet, to the point that it wasn’t even good. The flavors don’t taste ‘real,’ they just taste thick and sweet and fake. The toppings are not fresh. The syrup came out of the bottle seperated, with blobs of near solid and then liquid. The mochi was crunchy both times, as if it had been left out way too long. I just went in, at the end of March, and they still had Egg Nog flavor. I’m betting it’s left over from the holidays. The first time I went, the guy working there was nice and fine. The second time, it was a girl that had her boyfriend there with her and they were being uncomfortably intimate while I was there. I’ve tried twice, I’m not going back.

Ewwwwww! WORST yogurt place EVER. Don’t go!

I’ve tried a lot of fro yo (totally tooting my own horn), and this one is just meh… flavors seem a little too flavored, not so natural. The sugar content seems high, which doesn’t excite me (surprisingly). If I get coconut, I really expect it to have a pure flavor, not coconut on sugary steroids. Sorry, not impressed.

Most of their flavors are only okay. the plain is not especially tart the way I like it, but it’s not too sweet either. Their shining star as far as flavors is the coconut. they have the best in town.

Just so so fro yo. Pretty melty, pretty quickly. Would be nice to have the toppings labeled… That’s annoying. The place also smelled like cigarettes. That didn’t really make the place feel clean to tempt my palate. The best part was that they had peanut butter flavor.

A new place just opened for frozen yogurt, the recent fad. This place has a lot of flavors of yogurt and many toppings. I chose the salted caramel with toasted pecans, and he had the chocolate hazelnut with mini M&Ms. The salted caramel was slightly salty. And the chocolate hazelnut had a nice level of chocolate flavor. This restaurant is a great addition to the strip mall.
