Wonderful Chinese

Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. Amazing teriyaki chicken. Plus my best friend’s family owns it. XP

I have eaten here several times since the restaurant has been open. I used to be a loyal customer (probably ate here twice a month). Until one day I got a thing of egg rolls and they were not good. I used to be ride or die for these egg rolls. The last four times I came here there was something wrong. The first time my order was wrong so I took it back and had to get a new one. The second time the lady that was working gave my order to someone else so me and my bf had to wait 20 minutes for another order. The third time we ordered online and we went to pick it up and the food was so disgusting I barely ate any of it. The last time we went there was tonight. We ordered online and came in 20 minutes later to find our order not ready, the cashier didn’t even acknowledge us. She helped a family first then she walked over to another vacant table to make sure their order was okay then looked right at me and my bf and didn’t say anything. She continued to go behind the counter and do little things without asking if we needed help of even greeting us at all. I will not be coming her again. From now on I will be taking the 25 minute drive to yuba city over to lees where we can get quality Chinese food.

It’s not bad. I prefer Phở in Roseville. But this is closer to home for me. My husband and I appreciate that they have vegan options. He likes their spicy bean curd.

It was my 3^rd time coming here with my friends because its the only place in Wheatland that we all feel like eating at. The server was nice. She checked on us and helped us with all our crazy questions about the menu. I got the sweet and sour chicken combo plate. We got the egg flower soup as an appetizer and i was impressed. Everything on the plate was super bland and dry, except for the chicken. Its the best. Really crispy. Waaaay too many veggies though. They give you like 5 pieces of chicken and try to make it seem like more by adding veggies that most people, including me, won’t eat in this certain meal. Its a bit pricey for what its worth. Next time i’ll only get the chicken.

The food here was amazing! Honestly I did not have high hopes at first getting Chinese food in Wheatland: P but it ended up being some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time.

A-​OK sounds about right. The service was ok, even though we were never checked on, the food was ok-​nothing to brag about. The only thing I really enjoyed were the egg rolls.
*The portions are huge which is always a plus.

I have been going here since it opened. Always had great service and consistently been served delicious meals. The best part is when I am at work. I can actually drive from Beale AFB to Wonderful Chinese, Eat and get back to work within my 1 hour lunch break. My two favorite dishes are the Teriyaki Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken (mild). I have tried all the Asian cuisines in town (Linda, Yuba City, Wheatland) and in my own opinion Wonderful Chinese Restaurant is my favorite. Prices are amazing. I recommended you go during their lunch specials. You can grab an entrée, steam or fried rice and soup. Hope this review helps you to come out and try this delicious food. PLUR.

Food has been consistently good. We come here quite a few times a month and have enjoyed it! Prices are reasonable for lunch.

Food was mediocre and service was not very good wont be going back on the plus side it was clean

The food was hot and flavorful. The cashew chicken was delicious and my husband enjoyed his Mongolian beef. There was nothing special about the décor aside from the Christmas balls hanging from the ceiling. Service was great.

My family loves this place. My favorites are the lemon chicken and the honey walnut prawns. We generally get carry out but recently dinned in and it was really good and a bit cheaper. Super friendly service def worth checking out.

This is my go-​to spot for a Chinese lunch. Been here around 15 – 20 times. Consistent, good value, and great General’s Chicken!

OK place, but nothing special. Good in a pinch and saves a long drive if you feel like takeout. They overcook all the veggies, so you may want to ask them to go easy if you don’t like them that way.

We just moved to Wheatland and figured we would try out all the local restaurants. I have to say, I was shocked when we ate here. It is really, really good! The hunan chicken is awesome. My husband has tried a different dish everytime we go and all of them are always awesome and super tasty. Definitely give it a try!

Honey walnut prawns over steamed rice… ya feel me? Yeah, you do and this place does too. I don’t eat Chinese food often, but when I do, it’s from Wonderful. Chow mein is good, so is their fried rice. If you live in the area, or even if you’re stopping through, check em out.

I was in the mood for some Chinese and didnt feel like driving too far so Wonderful Chinese was nearby. This place has been open for over a year and definitely a nice addition to Wheatland. It is right off of Highway 65 so it’s easy to get to.
Nothing wild about the décor, they decided to do something different by hanging christmas balls from the ceiling (Forgot to take that picture, next time). The place seats about 40 ppl. I have never seen this place crowded. The portions of food fill up the whole plate. A standard combination meal comes with fried rice, chow mein, and your choice of dish.
The reason I didnt give them more stars was due to false advertising. Their menu states lunch special 7 days a week, but when we came there on a weekend, they told us that there was no lunch special. Not good for business, keep to your word.
Only chinese restaurant in Wheatland, food portions are large, and prices (that are listed right) are reasonable. Service was good. If I am in Wheatland again and in the mood, I might give them another chance…

Food was very good, portion was good as well. We had a party of four and got great service, this is a solid establishment with all of the right ingredients for success.

Food and service are great. We miss the Bay Area chinese food. and now we have found it.
