A Total Tan Spa

this tanning salon is horrible. horrible service. they don’t clean their beds. gross. they close the salon all the time because they have extremely no idea how to run a tanning saon. the staff of 2 have no knowledge of tanning beds. horrible service. not only is the salon always closed they keep a sign in the door saying what time they will be back & they never come back. this place should shut their doors. i’m embarrassed to even say i tanned there. their hours of service is when ever they feel like coming in. their extremely lazy and are always outside in the front of the salon smoking when there are customers inside. people who run businesses like that don’t stay in buisness. do not waste even a penny on this place. the beds are all extremely old & the bulbs have never been replaced in forever. the owners have no class & have horrible business knowledge. i’ve since the horrible many bad experiences at total tan i have now gave my buisness to la tan in bloomingdale. i give them a rating of 10 out of 10. fabulous service. very clean. the girls who work there are very knowledgeable the tanning buisness. they have impeccable staff. very cute girls that are tan & beautiful & they bring in the buisness. much cheaper too. please read this before wasting your money.

I’ve never gotten an airbrush tan before and I am fair skinned with plenty of freckles. Found them on groupon and decided to try for a wedding coming up as I’ll be a bridesmaid and am Casper white regardless of how much I try to lay out. Lisa the owner as well as the rest of the staff is so sweet I was laughing from the minute I walked in and left with a smile plastered on. Very knowledgable and it put me at ease! I have an awesome tan for the wedding am not at all orange looks as if I just came back from a tropical vacation! Awesome place. Completely obsessed now that I can get some color without laying in a bed! You have to try it to believe it they have made a customer out of me!

Very pleased! I had been a member of LA Tan for over 6 years, and had several very bad customer service experiences and poor recommendations for minutes to tan and lotions to use for my skin type.
Lisa, the owner of Total Tan, was very helpful. She explained EVERYTHING to me and didn’t make me feel rushed at all.
Extremely affordable, tanning and lotions (also other goodies like clothing and jewelry). Older beds, but they get the job done just the same. I am very happy I stopped in. I am going back tonight and bringing my sister!

I have been here twice. Once for a mystic tan, and tonight I went in for a mystic tan once again, but ended up getting a custom airbrush instead because the mystic was being repaired. Lisa, the airbrusher and owner, actually came in from home to do my custom tan because I was desperate! The airbrush tan looks AMAZING! So natural, even for a pale girl like myself. I will definitely go for airbrushing in the future for special events… quick, painless and it looks flawless. They definitely know their stuff here!

Lisa (owner) was very accommodating! I loved everything from the customer service when I walked in the door, down to the quality of my spray tan! I’ve been self tanning for for over 5 years… but what Lisa did to me was incomparable! I’m so dark thanks to her!

Customer service was obviously important to her

I had minutes on account at this place. I found out today it closed, has been sold to Ultimate Exposure and they have no record of my minutes. No one ever contacted me. Crummy deal. Reopened now with new owners, hope they are more responsible.

the ac was completely off it was hotter inside than outside… i duno if anyone knows this… but its a health hazard to have the ac off in a tanning salon! please FIX IT WHY IS IT ALWAYS OFF

Awesome place. Very clean, tons of towels, and super friendly, helpful staff. There is a mirror and chair in each room along with a nice amount of space in each room. Another feature I love about this place is that there is no count down on the beds… no rushing to get into the beds before your time starts.

Decided to start tanning again and went to A Total Tan on recommendation by a friend. Met Judy and she was so full of helpful information! Judy and the staff are so friendly. the place is beautiful and very clean! I would recommend to anyone to try this place, you’ll be happy you did!

Haven’t been tanning in quite awhile, used to go to Total Tan. I recently went back and remembered it being great years before and still really friendly, knowledgable staff. Welcoming environment. Options to use tanning bed or mystic tan.
