Great dentist — skilled and modern facilities. Staff is very friendly. Techs do a great job. Client for 15+ years.

I am having a difficult time giving 2 stars. But here is why… i brought my children after a great recommendation. THe problem is that we very much liked Dr Barnes. The only issue i have, is the receptionist. IN the beginning she did great at checking my insurance and all of that jazz. However, they did not have to correct appointment time leading me to have to cancel 2 appointments. Then after her saying that it is 100% covered by insurance I get a $ 99 bill from them for just 2 kids! When I explained my frustration, i was definitely informed that I dont understand how it works, and it is not her, or their, doing. I felt very frustrated and treated poorly. I Do not understand it. I have never felt belittled so much by a receptionist in any line of work. The children liked the dentist and i felt he explained every thing to me and was very informative! so for Dr barnes I would give a 4.5, for the receptionist, ease of scheduling, billing, and treatment by the receptionist, i give a 1. I guess the average should be closer to a 3+ but i am just so disgusted by the way I was treated by the receptionist I cant bring myself to raise the number.

Dr. Barnes and his staff are great. His wife works as the receptionist and she is always friendly and pleasant to chat with. Dr. Barnes is very thorough and will explain everything he is seeing and doing to your mouth. Dr. Barnes is not one to jump the gun and recommend drastic measures for minuscule issues. They’re honest, do a quality job and have excellent customer service.
