If you’ve never been to a room escape before, what are you waiting for? My wife and I came to Escape for Fun to experience something we’ve never done and make a memory for our anniversary — and we had a blast! We booked for a Friday online at , which was super simple, and we were happy to see as we arrived that the rest of the room space was booked by an 8-person group, so we could get the full experience of meeting new people and having fun. Thanks to the 8-person Goon Squad, we all were laughing, solving puzzles and working together in no time. This is the case where the people you’re with make a huge difference in how you’ll enjoy the experience. There are a lot of puzzles and clues to find and you really feel compelled to team up with different people throughout. If this is your first time, be prepared to be open-minded and ready for anything. If that’s not your personality, have a drink beforehand to take the edge off! The room will challenge you to think outside the box and constantly wonder why something is in the room for you to observe. The room itself is themed around King Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table. And while I won’t give away any clues or puzzles, I will say you’ll have fun with a variety of challenges that play to the strengths of different people. The logicians will love the number and letter puzzles, the creative folks will thrive when the puzzles become unexpected and not straightforward, often times finding clues nobody knew were there. The owners, a husband and wife team, were enthusiastic, warm and very helpful. They were just starting out and clearly envisioned the business growing into more rooms. I sure hope so because they definitely did a lot right, from the painting and props to the 3-D Intro. I would definitely come back and recommend this to anyone, even seasoned escapers.
