Went into here with friend, Owner(I believe) was following us around,. telling us not to touch ANYTHING. How are you suppose to know whether you would like to buy anything in vintage clothing and accessories if you don’t try it on. Prices were questionable. We left without a word after a few minutes.

This shop has it all, and the most wonderful owner to boot. When I come, I often bring 3 friends, as I know they love the place as much as I do. Tho we start in search of hats, most often we leave with other treasures as well.

Amazing selection of pieces from clothing to accessories and more. The owner was extremely helpful in finding clothing from the particular era we were searching for that fit and looked great. It is worth a visit for sure!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shop!!! I have been collecting vintage since the 1980s and this shop is the real deal one of the best! There are shops of this quality in Chicago proper, but as far as I have found, this is the only one of its kind currently in the suburbs of Chicago. High quality vintage clothing from someone who knows vintage. She has a great variety of sizes and a wonderful variety of eras, all categorized by decade. She also carries a nice variety from casual, every day clothing to cocktail dresses, evening gowns, shoes and accessories and a men’s section for my husband. My husband and I like 40s, 50s and 60s and my teenage daughters like 60s, 70s and 80s and she has it all. The owner is extremely helpful and gives suggestions on clothing that is in your size and style. If you are near Wheaton or have any excuse to go there and love vintage, you have to check this store out!

I really wanted to give this shop five stars, seeing as I love the pops of pink, the great vintage merchandise this store has to offer, and the displays. Unfortunately I have to only give three stars due to the lack of customer service. I have been here about three times to look for 50s and 60s dresses, but my biggest issue is the shop owner isn’t very warm and welcoming the few times I have been in there. Maybe she has her hands full with other tasks, but in a shop like this I would really appreciate it if i was asked what styles I like, what eras of fashion I like, etc. Because I do really like this shop and with that extra help I could be able to find dresses that fit my personality that I would actually purchase. I plan to go back in the spring once it gets warm out to look for sun dresses and hope for a better experience on the customer service end. Like I’ve said I have come three times and it’s been the same. It is just so awkward walking around a silent store trying to find something you like while the owner/worker is just sitting at the register desk looking at me. A little more hands on service and i’ll love this shop!

STELLAR shop — this is real vintage, not things that are vintage-look or from Macy’s last year like so many other vintage shops. The shop owner is very kind and helpful; she knows her stock well and she has an excellent memory for things she does not have on display but can bring to you. Real joy to shop here!

Well this was a disappointing first visit. Got two reasonably priced items, a brooch and a pair of earrings, ok so far. Then I purchased what I thought was a pair of Vintage LISNER earrings in the glass case(on a Lisner card) but they are not LISNER. I got home and looked at them through a Jeweler’s loop and there is a makers mark on the clip but it is not LISNER, can’t make it out. They do have a nice variety of things in the store but really put off now with the misleading earrings. I’d bring them back but can’t find my receipt… when it rains it pours. Update: Will not be back to this store. What else is misrepresented or labeled? Blaming me because I didn’t inspect them close enough, really?

This store is totally stellar! Anyone who loves vintage MUSTCOMEHERE!!! Hats, hats, hats galore. I could live here(ok… I am exaggerating but you get the picture). The layout is flowing and not overcramed. Displays are done with great care. The store is clean and doesn’t have that musty old smell. You can tell the shop owner really cares about vintage and does not just want to make a buck. I purchased 3 hats and will be back in the future to make more purchases. This is my new favorite vintage store.

This is such a great vintage shop! The shop owner is always restocking new merchandise regularly, and her taste is exquisite! She is always seeking out unique pieces that are clean and excellent quality. Whenever I shop here, I always find something wonderful for any occasion. I have also had the owner offer to find me what I am looking for if I can’t find it with her! This shop truly is a gem to anyone who LOVES vintage clothing and accessories!

High ceilings, elegant chandeliers and a touch of pink is just the beginning of what is becoming a local favorite in the downtown Wheaton scene. Located across from the Egg Harbor Café on Hale Street, this nostalgic shop showcases how the decades were truly remembered. Featuring clothes for men and women, books, hats, necklaces, shoes, handbags and other desired treasures, the artfully placed items cater to every age group. The store owner is constantly bringing in new products and is meticulous about the quality, which means rips, tears and stains are nonexistent. Bottom line? Even if you were not born during that era, you fall in love with it.
