Very impressed with my service this morning at Midas Wheaton! Based on other Unilocalers, I went here for an emergency repair. I thought the loud noise it was my muffler but it was my rear shocks — one was completely rusted out and banging on the car.
I was greeted cheerfully, the problem was diagnosed quickly, estimate provided. I had a pressing appointment and they met my needs exactly on time — I was in and out within 3 hours. Recommend!

Okay Service, I honestly think I over paid for my service, but it was an emergency and needed my wheel fixed right away and my regular mechanic was too far to drive. I will never go back b/​c I paid too much according to my mechanic.

This shop is staffed with knowledgable and talented mechanics. So much more than a muffler shop, they have worked on my car with great results. Assessed my car, gave me an unbeatable quote and gave 150% customer service. This was a recommendation from a friend and I want to «pay it forward» by sharing the news of this excellent and honest auto shop in Wheaton. A real tribute to the Midas line.

i would rate this ZERO star if I could. definitely not recommend. this place will rip you off if you don’t have any knowledge about car. charge way expensive than other shops. I have camry 2006 4 cylinders which use timing chain. they told me my car need to replace timing belt. what the F**k. and one of my wheel had 2 stud broken and they asked $ 140 for that. wow… i can replace that myself and only cost me $ 5 and 20 minutes to do that. if you still want to go this place, my advise is do some research online and ask other shops to see if they say that same thing and compare the price. hope this help. good luck

Just finished getting an oil change and tire rotation. I was in and out in 45 minutes. No fuss, no worries. I recommend this establishment.

Clean location. Seem friendly and honest enough. Lots of stuff to walk to while they work on your car. I also drove by jiffy lube nearby in kensington and they were much ruder and tried to sell me up. The location was alos filthy looking. I am going to give Midas another shot on something more major and see how it goes.

I went in there with a host of problems on my car. Unlike other body shops that I’ve gone to, they only worked on those issues that I mentioned and did not do anything to my car without my approval. They were brutally honest and understanding. I was in and out in the time frame that they told me and worked with me on the pricing. The only reason that I’m giving them 3⁄5 stars b/​c they are expensive. They being said… I think it was the quality of service that I received from them that made me less upset about the charged amount. Hope this helps.

This place is a joke.
This is a butcher shop. The prices are extremely high for what they actually do.
$ 29.99 for a VISUAL brake inspection. Yes, I said visual!
$ 33 for a regular oil change. The clown mechanic only put in 3.5 qts of oil when I actually needed 4

My car decided to have a minor «freak out» a couple of days. After much debate of what the problem was… and my fear of driving it beyond the limits of our driveway… I dealt with the fear and drove it to the nearest repair shop. I explained the «freak out» and the guys at Midas decided to run a battery test. As it turns out, the battery was fine; however, there was a loose connection to one of the battery terminals. They did the battery test and fixed the loose connection for FREE! Midas… you guys ROCK!!!

I’ve been putting off getting my oil changed for a very long time now. Then the snow came…
Finally, I decided to put that $ 24.99 coupon that came with my grocery receipt to use. Not only did I get my oil changed, but I got my tires rotated too. There was one job ahead of me, so it wasn’t ready in a
«jiffy». I arrived at noon and was out around 1:30 which is exactly how long the counter guy told me it would be. it’s close enough to Wheaton Plaza that you could walk there and kill some time if you were to have a more time consuming repair.
They did the job that needed to be done and I saved money, so it was worth the wait.
