Lightly disappointing. Haircut was fine, though less of an experience than advertised. So, saw this place walking around the area after a meal nearby. I was like, «I’m in the market for a haircut soon, maybe I’ll try it one day.» So, working from home on a monday, lamenting not getting a cut earlier in the weekend on what’s usually a barber’s holiday. Check the website, they’re open and they have a special even where I can get a manicure with the VIP treatment(Haircut, scalp massage, tea tree shampoo, leave in conditioner, steamed towel, neck shave, neck and shoulder massage for 30 bucks). A bit extravagant, but I could see it, and my nails need trimming anyway, I’ll give it a try. I get there, they ask if I have an appointment, I say«No, is that okay?» and it is. So they go back, and arrange for someone to come take care of me, and then I have a haircut, they never really asked me what I wanted to any detailed extent, but I was just going with the flow, I waited for some upsell or a menu presented or something, I’m not sure how it works, and it never really came. I was trying to recall what other bits where part of the lesser cut, I think there was a hairwashing. But we were done, and I was taken out to pay. So, I got a Men’s Haircut for $ 25 dollars(apparently haircut, shampoo w/scalp massage, legendary hot steamed towel, and leave-in conditioner). But in my case just a hair cut. No neck shave either, though a disposable razor was offered. So, kind of a disappointment. I suppose I could have been all demanding of «What about all the rest that I don’t quite recall what that might be!?» I just figured, eh, I suppose I should get back to work.
