This is a high quality bakery. The service was great. It’s tucked in the middle of Wheeler so it’s easy to drive by if you are busy looking at the view. Don’t miss it. Good cookies. I’m trying the brownies next time!

My wife and I were here in Wheeler for vacation from Texas. I’d previously found and bookmarked this shop as a place to try. Because of a time constraint the previous day we’d run into another shop down the street and had a less than pleasant experience. Our visit to Barista Bay was the exact opposite. From the moment we walked in it was very nice. Greeted by both the barista and customers. Served promptly and with a smile and quality offerings. My wife had an apple fritter and an iced vanilla latte and I had a twist donut and a large coffee(loved the name of the coffee — «Fogcutter dark roast» as it was appropriate for the morning.) Oh, I actually went back for a bagel with cream cheese too. Everything we had was awesome, no details needed, and the conversation with Zoey was very nice. This place is everything you want in a locally owned coffee shop while on vacation. Just perfect. If in the area don’t even think, just go here.

The sign says«quite possibly the best ham sandwich ever» and this was one of the few places open at 230 on a Friday. A big pile of thinly sliced Black Forest ham, dill pickle chips, dijon mayo, Swiss and dill havarti, fresh tomatoes and you can have it hot or cold on really good Sourdough bread. The rest of the sandwiches sounded equally tasty. Had a new item and promptly bought three more for the road. It was a twist of pastry with a slice of candied thick cut pepper bacon and a bit of cheese. The barista gave it to me heated. Yum! So good and flavorful. Husband had a Bismarck donut and we picked up a delicious double chocolate brownie for later. We ate every crumb. Stash teas and good coffee fit the bill. Wonderful, friendly and fast service too. This is a great place in a cute little town. Can’t wait to return.

I love roast beef sandwiches and The Onion Peak sandwich here is especially good! Grilled red onions add a wonderful test and texture to this sandwich. Always love the sourdough bead that it is made on. Companies great too!

Cute coffee nook with an incredible view in a picturesque seaside town. The latte we got was decent. The blueberry scone was fresh, although the consistency was more moist than usual, sort of like a muffin. Prompt service from perhaps the most gorgeous barista ever, who had the courtesy to get off her cellphone the moment we walked through the door.

Great little place and unexpectedly good. Got a double espresso which was a bit fruity and yummy with a nice bitter aftertaste the way you’d like it. I got my wife a dry cappuccino which was also well done, bit not super dry. Still well above average coffee. Each also came with a chocolate covered espresso bean. It’s hard to complain about that. I didn’t get a chance to try the pastries, but they looked and smelled excellent.

This place is great had an awesome vanilla latte and bacon maple bar before we headed out crabbing. The gal who owns it is very nice and must work hard to get that case full in the early morning. Thank you for the great service!
