Sketchy & Slimy: I had water damage to my unit from a neighbor. After the insurance adjustor came, we discussed a few minor items I disagreed with. He said he was fine if I had someone come out to look at it, as long as it wasn’t too ridiculous, they would agree. For starters Servicemaster didn’t seem to want to come out unless they would already have the job. I spoke to Anthony when booking the appointment. I said I am looking at quotes, I’m not just going to hand you the job. Seeing as I was getting several quotes, I kept the appointment. The Project Manager who came(George) wanted me to hand over the estimate the insurance adjustor had done. I didn’t feel comfortable doing that. I would only tell him«what» they estimated, not the amount. Their estimate should be the same regardless of who the insurer is. Quite frankly he made me uneasy from the start. However, we continued to discuss what needed to be done. He agreed with what needed to be done and said he would have his construction people contact me this week. About 10 minutes later, I get an e-mail from them saying I needed to talk to the people I was going to hire to discuss what needed to be done. So basically they won’t give any estimate until they know they have the job. Bottom line here… sketchy, slimy people.

Service master was hired by state farn insurance company to remove, and salvage any, and aii personal items belonging to our famiy. After a small fire. They, them whoever returned the Items to us, missing valuble positions. the most expensive of which was a baseball given to me by Frankie crossetti(a family friend and third base coach for the New York Yankees), who had the ball signed by every member of the 1962 Yankees, that were here in san Francicso to play the Giants in the World Series. . This is unforgivable, and I am sure someone in or around the SERVICE master organization must know what happened to it. This was a gift given to a 7 year old boy in 1962.(((PLease return it — no questions asked This ball is of great interest, and someone must remember seeing, or hearing of it. Please do the right thing I am the seven year old boy, who was so heart broken, when you did not return it. Also Item never returned including all our families camping gear, and many deep sea fishing pole — among many other things. Please do the right thing Ken Cresci

They have a 24 hour a day, 7 day per week answering service! You can leave a message and are told to expect a return call the following business day to make an appointment. The website shown in Unilocal is not accurate so call! Received a call and arranged my appointment. They called the day before and the day of my appointment to reconfirm. On time two guys arrived, politely explained what they would do and did the work, explained what they had done, showed me some stains they were unable to removed and accepted my credit card as payment. After they cleaned up after themselves, they politely left. My two couches look great! I highly recommend their services.
