Had Valentines day dinner this past Saturday night… The lamb chop was very good. We started off with oyster that were not so great. However the manager was very apologetic. The live music was amazing and the bar was packed. All and all we had a great dinner. Always a fan I would also recommend the STK it’s very good. We will be back soon.

Very good food, friendly welcoming service and a very attentive manager — Michael Dyb. Tuscany Wheeling is a good place to dine with friends or family. Also have rooms off of the main dining room for parties.

We have gone to Tuscany many times. Enjoy the cocktails, wine and the food. This specific time one was the most special. My children and I took my mother Jan. 2nd for dinner on her birthday. The wait staff treated her like a queen, brought her a beautiful piece of cake and sang happy birthday. She felt so special that she couldn’t stop thanking me for weeks. Little did I know that this would be the last memory of her. Thank you to the wait staff on Jan 2nd, 2016, you made my mom’s day so special. My family will continue to go to Tuscany for great meals and service! Thank you for going above and beyond!

There was nothing ‘wrong’ with our lunch last Tuesday. Actually, the Flatbread and sausage dishes were tasty, fresh, and ample. I’m just very disappointed that the 10 Under $ 10 lunch menu — which was displayed on the website that morning — has been discontinued. The waiter said it’s being revamped. We have very specific dietary concerns and always check a menu before dining out. Walking in and having the immediate stress of finding something to eat gave the entire meal an unpleasant vibe. Technology is a wonderful concept, when used properly and updated.

Last night we had a perfect evening at Tuscany. The hospitality and the food were terrific, Frank, our waiter, was extremely knowedgeble, and adorable as well. The holiday decorations were stunning, and the room was full of happy people. This is a new favorite!

I love the suburban restaurants! huge bread basket filled with fresh delicious italian bread. a vat of tasty olive oil and a heaping pile of fresh parmesan cheese freshly grated add a little salt and pepper, It’s a meal all to itself. Loved the $ 10 lunch special no substitutions. Tilapia blackened with julienned vegetables and red skin mashed potatoes, good not great. large portion for the price great deal. Phil Stefani knows how to build a restaurant. I loved the centerpiece of the bar it’s was a huge tub iced Vodka bar, fantastic.

T: ry not to eat the whole plate of fresh garlic, parm, and olive oil the waitress preps for you! U: nderstandable that dishes change over the years, but the pollo Montecarlo is parsimonious(aka stingy… I just learned this word yesterday watching Iron Chef Zakarian judge on Chopped; hah!) on the portion size for both the chicken and prosciutto, and the sauce seemed different. S: kip the bread potentially. Focaccia was staling. C: omforting entrees here. I pounded my housemade veal ravioli. Other housemade pastas include gnocchi and the pappardelle. A: ll I can say about the spacious parking lot is whoop whoop! N: o messing around here! Efficient service, and kitchen team is on top of it. We were in and out in 40 minutes! Y: ou can reserve on OpenTable!

What a great dining experience. I decided to stop in the suburbs to have dinner with my parents and they insisted on going here(I’ve been to Tuscany before and don’t recall liking it). For starters are waiter was great(Papa Sal), he was hilarious, and got along with my difficult dad. The menu had so many great options(food, specials and drinks). I ordered the Moscow mule(a little too sweet for my taste, but very refreshing). For appetizers we ordered a Caesar salad and the anitpasto(great selection of meats). For the entrée I ordered duck breast(5 stars!!! it was perfectly cooked duck breast with a wild cherry brandy reduction, mashed potatoes and spinach), my mom ordered Char(perfectly cooked fish similar to salmon) and my dad ordered the appetizer seafood platter that included, grilled octopus, grilled squid and shrimp. We all enjoyed are entrees and finished off our evening with a chocolate torte and tiramisu, delicious!!! I highly recommend Tuscany…

There is a vast improvement over our last dinner here. As always, we started by telling our server, Adam, that it was our wedding anniversary(we got married here 13 years ago). He turned out to be a great server! Best we’ve ever had at this location. Anyway — started with their trademark delicious roasted garlic and bread basket. We had a couple of standard cocktails and I ordered the rack of lamb done medium; he ordered the pounded veal chop parmesean(special). His came with a side of pasta. Mine came with oven roasted potatoes and carmelized onions. Both were cooked perfectly(we shared bites) and delicious. Restaurant was not super busy for a Sunday night and dinner moved along at a relaxed pace which was perfect. There are a lot of weekday«specials» and on Sunday the special is for any entrée you order, you can take home an entrée of pasta. So — we had tons of leftovers from our dinner and 2 additional dinners to go. Turned out to be a decent value. Adam brought us a dessert for our celebration. Unbelievably delicious white chocolate mousse cake(which he told us is made in house) — really — unbelievably delicious!!! Manager sent over lemoncello to end our meal and all in all — a very pleasant evening. We try to get back there at least once a year and will try to get back more. Delicious.

Friend took me here last night. We chose to sit outside and the server was wonderful – we were uncertain of which wine to order, and he helped us make our choice via 2 samples, which I thought was a nice touch. We had the arugula salad, which was wonderful. I had the lobster ravioli which was good, and my friend had the veal scallopine, which was excellent. Crème Brulee for dessert, and I was a happy camper.

Stopped by this place while visiting the area. Not the best Italian food I’ve had but decent. I had the sampler appetizer plate and the Risotta. Sampler plate was on point but the Risotta was a little on the watery side. That being said, the service was great. Very attentive which I appreciated.

Went here on Valentine’s Day. This is the place we ate at after my honey proposed to me. It has a special place in my heart and I will give it 4 stars as explained below: The first time we came here was on a Thursday evening so it was not too crowded and we received amazing attention. Our most recent experience I would give 2 stars. We came on VDAY… so as expected very crowded. We had reservations and still waited 30 minutes which is understandable. However, the ambiance just was not as romantic/wonderful as I remembered and service not as pleasant. It was so loud we could barely hear anything and we were seated in that back where a lot of cold air kept coming in. I was not very pleased with the dining experience. The prices are moderate however this place is supposed to have a very romantic, Italian vibe. Not really on VDAYNIGHT. We waited for a long time in the doorway, we were seated in a not so comfortable area, waitress took about 15 minutes to come back to us between each order we placed and the ambiance was noisy not too soft. I will say the food was amazing and that is where i am placing these two stars. We ordered the breaded pork chop, amazing size, cooked to perfection and enough for left overs. We also ordered the grilled shrimp, calamari, fish plate. I am not usually a fan of fish but this was pretty amazing I am leaving my review at 4 stars because I had an amazing time the first time I came in. The first time the waiter talked to us about his travels to India(fiancée is Indian) and how to make the garlic/oil dip for the bread. He recommended dishes and checked on us every few minutes. This first time left a beautiful impression on me. I am not just saying this because I was recently proposed to but also because our waiter and service was the seal to a wonderful night. Overall, I still recommend the place, not only because it is dear to me because they have amazing food and I am sure pretty good service. If you don’t want the best of service/ambiance do not go on a major holiday :)

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this nice Italian restaurant tucked away in wheeling. I went in with little expectations, but I was bowled over. The service was very nice. Our server brought us roasted garlic which he smashed with the olive oil and mixed with Parmesan cheese to serve as a nice flavorful dip for the complimentary dip. We ordered the mushroom arugula pizza, the pear ravioli and a bottle of Malbec, and ended the meal with the chocolate lava cake. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend. I am deducting one star as the bread was not served warm and fresh.

I truly rate this as a top dining restaurant as they are consistently good every time. The fish offered depends on availability but is fresh and well prepared. The pastas are outstanding, especially the pear ravioli with walnuts, as well as the amazing desserts. Expect over the top service. The bar is well stocked and reasonable. Ambience is old school Chicago Italian so dress nicely and prepare to enjoy your dining experience.

After having attended Tuscany’s Thanksgiving cooking class, we decided to have dinner at Tuscany since we hadn’t been there for a long time. During the class Chef Bolla said that if we came in we should say hi. He came over and gave us a warm welcome. The food and service was fantastic last night. Everything from the baked clams to the chicken Parmesan was perfect! I woke up this morning wishing I had some more of that tiramisu. I am looking forward to my next meal at Tuscany and I would love to attend additional cooking classes.

Always have a terrific meal. Went twice recently — once for dinner with friends and once for lunch in order to taste a few items before a dinner party for 20 next week. Very reasonable lunch prices and great food. Spinach and grilled pear salad — it had warm slices of grilled chicken breast, grilled pears, cool spinach with a light and sweet vinaigrette and warm and crunchy sweetened pecans. A nice contrast in flavors, temperatures and textures. The wild mushroom, taleggio and arugula flatbread had a very thin and tasty crust and was served on a beautiful teak cutting board. There were 10 small pieces in total with big depth of flavor from the mushroom and taleggio cheese. Swiss chard, ricotta and gorgonzola agnolotti(ravioli) with browned butter, crisp sage leaves, parmesan and pine nuts was very flavorful and rich.
