Good variety of vendors, but I wish I had worn some rain boots or shit kickers. What a mess! The rain quickly turned the dirt into mud, and given the combination of slipperiness and alcohol, it’s a wonder more people didn’t fall on their asses. The sad thing is the BrewFest had the same weather the year before and did nothing to prepare for a repeat. Either grow some grass or establish a rain location! Other than that, I enjoyed my samples and the live music. I’d go again.

This event is ALWAYS a great time, despite the thunderstorms, rain, and ensuing mud. Actually, those things have made this event even more fun. The beers are always super tasty and fresh with highlights from Kane, Trap Rock, and Founders. And how could I forget THETACOTRUCK! Best tacos EVER. I need to find that taco truck. HONGOSALLTHEWAY! Can’t wait until next year’s event!

So this was a pretty good time except for the fact that mother nature was not all that cooperative. Seems like everyone had a great time and it will be something I return to. However, be careful of their website, they advertise a few great things that in reality don’t happen. VIP Parking and VIP entrance? Nope! Also had to pay for parking on top of the price of the ticket. Last year’s at the PNC was much better.
