Overly happy to find Uncle Vinny’s pizza since it’s difficult-to-impossible to find a pizza/pie that would meet most North Jersey/NYC folks’s expectations. The closest to good pie we experienced in the past 7 years in the Morristown area was Godfathers… to which is now a place of the past having discovered Uncle Vinny’s. Uncle Vinny’s authentic sauce(not sugary like other places lack of experience), noticeable top quality cheese, and perfectly crisp pie and crust make this really the only pie in town worth the money. Lastly, the owners greeted my girlfriend and I with kindness and that local feel. This place rocks.

NOTUNCLEVINNY’S ANYMORE — SOLDTOTONY’S of Morris Plains… Notable difference in slices already: smaller and less toppings… ah well, we’ll miss ya Vinny! But wait, Vinny is now managing Anthony’s & Sons in Succasunna — GREAT sandwiches there!

After the new owner change, the pizza is a bit disappointing. There is still the variety that you would expect from Uncle Vinny, but with less. What I mean is the toppings are tiny. I usually get the chicken bacon ranch, but it seems the chicken pieces are smaller and the bacon is non-existent. No offense to the guys making the pizza as they are the same guys when Uncle Vinny was running the place. The pizza quality was not on par. Plus the vibe wasn’t there anymore. And no cherry Coke!!! Talking to the owner’s nephew revealed that the restaurant will be totally reno’d. Owner is the same as Tony’s in Morris Plains. I don’t plan to come back unless someone tells me otherwise.

This place is a dump. I saw cockroaches running across the floor and the food tasted like it was reheated. Please do not go here. Disgusting

Delivery was supposed to take half hour. An hour and a half later, food arrives. Pizza tastes like cardboard, literally. They sent the wrong salad, which was also wilted and gross and more expensive than the one ordered. Mozzarella sticks were hard as a rock. To top it all off, they had the nerve to charge a delivery fee! Extremely disappointed.

Best pizza I have found around here. A little on the pricey side, but very solid. Wings were just OK.

Ordered a Sicilian. They said it would be 25 minutes, so we waited inside. They stood around, and screwed around. The pizza was finished an hour later.

We just moved to the area. We were too exhausted to go out for dinner. We wanted some good italian food delivered. If you live you in north NJ you know there are tons of good places. Here’s what we ordered– –Chopped Salad– Really fresh and cold and nice presenation. great creamy italian dressing. –Pizza– Pretty good pie. Slightly thin crust, sweet homemade sauce and good cheese. –Chicken Francese dinner– This was absolutely delicious, in a nice light slightly lemony sauce, great batter. They delivered in less than 40 minutes. This is our new go to place in Whippany/Cedar Knolls area.

Check your order before you walk out the door. Just ordered take out. The price came out higher then the online and menu price and they forgot the bread. There are too many places in the area so these little things are important. I have only been there for lunch before this time, the pizza is average. I have had better and worse. Tonight we ordered spaghetti and meatballs and penne vodka, I was charged an extra dollar and the bread was missing. The food would have been better with some crusty Italian bread but I wasn’t about to drive back. It seems like the owner is there during the day, but at night the kids roll in and stuff goes down hill.

Awesome service. People so nice. Great pies and real fresh. Salad was good. Hard to find but worth the try. Would definitely go back when in the area. Good local feel

Had this delivered to my hotel when in town on business. I wanted to try Jersey pizza. I’m not sure how authentic this is as it’s the only pizza I’ve had in NJ. I thought it was great. Arrived hot and on time. I got meat lover’s and thought it was great. Crust was good too.

The pizza tastes good. With that being said, the customer service and attention to detail is horrible. I’m not going to waste more of my time explaining details. I will simply say, I will not order from them again. They are just another money collecting problem with no focus on customer experience or overall product delivery.

Stopped here on a Saturday night at 8:15. Except for two very small tables in front all the chairs were stacked on the tables. And all the pizza was under the counter. We asked if they were closed. And the young kid reluctantly said«No». He put three pizza trays back on the counter for us to choose from. We asked if we could take the chairs off a table so we could eat as there were three of us and the tables up front were too small. He reluctantly said«ok». And we asked for parmigiana cheese, we were told it was already put away! I can’t imagine the owner of this establishment would be happy with staff who close early on their own. But that is certainly the way it looked to us!

I live practically right across the street and prefer to drive the extra few miles to go elsewhere. Stopped in a few times to pick up slices and always end up disappointed. The service is quick and staff was friendly. Considering there are so many great pizzerias in the area, they need to bring the quality of food up a few notches to compete.

Im a self proclaimed pizzaholic. I had the chicken parm pizza, gf had the broccoli white pizza… both were fantastic. Wish I lived closer. The young man at the counter was very friendly… all combined for a great pizzeria. Next time im in the area I will 100% go back.

Staying here on business and there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. So I decided to to order from Uncle Vinny’s, Must the say the delivery was really fast for a Saturday night. The chicken parm sub was pretty good. If I come back I’d probably order again.

In a word: terrible! If you don’t go, you’ll not only not spend good money on a bad product, you’ll avoid getting a headache by not having to listen to the owner make inane alibis about why what he’s putting before you might not be what you actually ordered. Or why it just doesn’t taste good, but you’ll also miss having him get upset with you when it becomes obvious that you’re just not buying the jazz that he’s trying to peddle. Don’t understand why this guy’s still in business.

Great Subs and Friendly Service. I was in the area working, but I was hungry for a decent Italian sub. Hey, ‘dis is New Jersey over ‘ere. Dats what I got a full ham, salami, provolone sub with lettuce, tomatos and onions and just the right amount of oil and vinegar. Service was fast and friendly. I’ll stop in any time I’m working a yard job in Whippany. Steve, owner: The Yard Guys LLC 973−400−9335
