DONOT, and I repeat, DONOT, EVER, book with this«company», especially with Tom Williams. He has some serious anger and attitude problem. For starters, when I first called for the 1st time to get the final details and prices, he gave me a major attitude, complaining that the rest of the group was supposed to book the activities earlier,(which is not my problem). I asked him twice about the prices, because it was a little confusing, and he replied: «I already told you.» Long story short, I was extremely polite with him, and he absolutely sounded miserable on the phone. I then told my husband about how rude he was. My husband called him up, and he was fine with my husband. Therefore he booked the activities. I come to find out that Tom was also rude to my girl friend. So, on the day of the activity, my husband called him up to get a physical address. Tom was extremely rude saying that he emailed us the info already and hung up on my husband. Then that’s when my husband saw how rude he was. We were ready to say, screw this, we’ll just dispute the transaction because he can’t even give us a physical address. But, we didn’t want to ruin our friends day, since they had planned this. So, we went ahead on this«adventure.» Tom shows up, being really nice as if nothing happened. We all go to our destination for the bike ride, which consisted of us riding our rented bikes without a guide,(next time I’ll just rent a bike). Then, we did the kayaking with Tom, and other people also did water rafting. Completely different experience from my previous year. For starters, he would have crazy comments when talking to other people, such as: «I do not tolerate arrogance.» Wow! Hypocrite!!! Secondly, there were about 10 different«boats», and Tom was the only guide. When my husband and I got stuck at a huge rock, he just sat and watched, with his head resting on his hands; while others initiated to help us. Secondly, when we stopped for lunch, my friend asked nicely without knowing that there was a lunch break. Which was fine, because we were not hungry since we ate prior. Tom answered arrogantly: «It was in the email. Do you guys not listen to me when I talk?» I felt like we were in detention or something. Also, while we stopped, he made another comment that really ticked off my husband. Let me just make one thing clear, we were there to have a good time, and we are all very polite and had nothing but good intention. But this Tom guy was rude to every one of us, including other people that I overheard complaining about him. Lastly, when most of the group stopped to go on the rope by the water, he continued with about 2 other rafters and left EVERYBODYELSE behind. We had to raft for at least 10 minutes to try to find our location and the rest of the group. Also, he constantly mentioned about tipping. Seriously, the biggest tip I can give him is to treat his customers with respect! They are paying and they are entitled to ask questions. He’s obviously miserable with his career, unprofessional and losing a screw or 2. The next day I went white water rafting with a different company( ), who was AMAZING and super professional. I’ll be going back next year with a much bigger group, but WOULDNEVERBOOKAGAINWITHTOMANDHISCOMPANY, EVENIF I GOTPAIDFORIT!!! That business will definitely go bankrupt, or not advance, as long as this arrogant Tom is involved.
