Pretty big fan of this place. It’s a neat little dive bar. Drinks are cheap, but they have a pretty decent selection of beers, maybe 12 – 15 on tap. It’s decently a local place. There is a lot of regulars there, but don’t let them scare you they all seem harmless. Bartenders have alway been nice and friendly every time I go here. I would recommend checking this place out. I try to take friends here, they usually seem to enjoy the place.

Best dive bar in the area with a great view and great staff. Told the kids we were heading out for cat food, popped in for a quick beer and ended up there for 3 hours with the wife. Great place if you’re looking for a place to chill.

Best bar in the area! The place is old school cozy like somebody’s basement. The staff is friendly. The beer is cold, the prices are reasonable and they have hot dogs on a roller! Came here on fathers day and sat outside on their deck. Fantastic!

It’s a neat little place if you like little dive bar type places. There isn’t a whole lot of seating because the place is small and they have a pool table. I went in the winter, so unfortunately I didn’t get to take advantage of their patio area, but it looks nice! Right on the water. They don’t have food, but you’re welcome to order pizza to be delivered.

I finally got to Spraders after 2+ years of living in White Lake. It’s small, hyper-local and totally friendly(staff and patrons alike). Brought along a friend visiting from FL and she LOVEDIT and wants to go back before she leaves(we’re both fans of the tiny and the ‘divey’). We popped in late afternoon/happy hour time about when the Tigers were set to play Game 4(which set them Series bound). In honor of the game they had free hot dogs for the taking. Nothing fancy, but gut-filling and a nice surprise because we were hungry. The deck/water area was closed, but if you sit at the right tables you are blessed with a view. There were TV’s placed in all directions so that you can catch whatever game is scheduled to be watched from every angle. The(ladies) bathroom was basic and nice at the same time. Small, but clean, too. Almost had a ladies touch with certain details. If you’re into fancy schmancy and are into airs, go elsewhere. They probably don’t want your kind there anyway. One can probably afford to go to Spraders every night for a couple of drinks even in this crappy economy. Just to give you an idea of how affordable this place is, I had 3 drafts and the BFF2 Rieslings and my tab was $ 14 before tip. Seriously, how can you beat that? They also had interesting shot and drink lists on the table(hot and cold) which I want to delve into on future visits. I definitely look forward to frequenting Spraders during the warmer weather. They seem to have an active Facebook page so hit ‘em up there too. Oh, super kudos to Lynn the bartender who was great and attentive. ETA: We went back the next evening and that experience was deserving of 2 stars. My friend got face and hat-molested by what seemed to be a creepy regular. Nope, this would be strictly be a day visit place for me. Oh, no food as others have stated, but they do have chips for sale by the bar.

Stopped by Spraders on a very hot summer afternoon. No A/C, however if was well ventilated. I was very comfortable. I was really in the mood for an ice cold beer, and maybe some of those deep fried mini tacos. They have good beer specials, however no food. Great view of the lake. The place appears to be one of the old cabins in the area converted to a bar. It has a nice small deck and a dock on the lake.

Great view of Oxbow Lake in the summer hang outside. The parking is tiny. Be careful when leave cops are always hiding by there. Drinks are always a great price and nice pours on mixed drinks they don’t measure they just pour and its never weak.

The bar might be an old ice shanty but it doesn’t matter because they are so good that I have walked there in –5 degree weather before. The beers are cheap and the service is good. The crowd is friendly and ranges from the late 20s to 50s. My friends from all over south-eastern Michigan always want to go here. There is karaōke, which i am usually not a fan of but it’s always entertaining at Spraders. They have a pool table and darts but i wish they didn’t so that there would be more room to sit. The bartenders are so nice that when my friend lost his phone that they drove it to our house after the bar closed. I believe they are open until 2am all week. Arguably the best bar ever.

Yes, Sprader’s is a dive, it’s homey, local, and goofy, but it’s awesome. My boyfriend and I have only been there four times, we average about one visit per month, yet every time we go we feel soooo welcome. The drinks are strong, the bartenders are speedy, and the locals love to share great stories. In addition, the bar is right on the lake and offers great views.
