Dominick at Ballard-​Durand is a special man. He went above and beyond what was required of him and we felt well cared from the moment we first spoke to him on the phone to his final follow up call after our father’s funeral…
We faced a few difficult and extremely upsetting issues with the cemetery, right out the gate, but Dominick fought tirelessly for us. The first day of battling these ridiculous and unnecessary issues with the cemetery, it was an 11.5 hour day… Dominick was with us every step of the way. until we received his phone call after 8pm that everything was taken care of. He knew how hurt and tired we were so he stayed on top of the issue and made sure to call us even though he was clocked out… Because of his help, people were finally able to book flights. we were able to move forward with cremation and burial plans.
He really saved the day and my family was overjoyed to hear that we didn’t have another couple days of fighting ahead of us.
When he wasn’t scheduled to work the following day, he made sure the rest of the staff at Ballard-​Durand were well aware of the issues we had and made sure we knew what next steps were until we saw him again at the crematory. His professionalism of absolutely stellar.
In addition to being amazing at his job, Dominick’s emotional IQ is off the charts. He simply knew how to read us. He was patient, he always knew the right things to say to make us feel better. My sister even wanted to set him up with her single friend…
