Service was great and food was good too. I parked in the customer parking in rear of restaurant.

Did I really just pay $ 33 for a child’s portion of Kalbi? Total rip-off! Definitely not worth it for the BBQ portion. The regular food was less than okay. Korean food in Westchester is just not going to be a thing.

Wow, where do I start with this place? Let’s get the pros out of the way because there aren’t many. The servers were very friendly and that’s about it. Now, for the cons. Before I get to that, I have to make a disclaimer. I did come here with a groupon and I should have received the same quality of service and food as any other diner. I also have to say that I failed to check the reviews of this place before I bought that groupon or dined here but it probably wouldn’t have made any difference because there seems to be okay reviews for this place(which is mind numbing to me!!!) «Best Korean food… side dishes excellent» as some of these reviews say. Omg! You must have never had Korean food before. So I love Korean food and eat at authentic Korean restaurants a lot. Well, I think most Korean restaurants are authentic anyway because the people that own the restaurant or serve you are Korean. It’s not like going to a Mexican or a Japanese or an Italian restaurant and having Chinese people serve you. So I figure if this place is owned by Koreans or at least have Koreans serving you, you should get decent Korean food, right? Not! I love Korean bbq but don’t really get it at the restaurants because I feel that it is a rip off. You pay such a premium for a few slices of meat that you cook yourself, not thanks. But since I had the groupon and paid such a good price for it, I figure I could treat myself a bit and use it on the bbq(the baller that I am). My group and I ended up ordering two bbq entrees and a few of the other items on the menu which cost well above what our groupon would cover. When the server came out with the first bbq dish, we all just stared at each other like, «What?! What happened to the rest of the meat? Maybe he’s just teasing us and will bring out the rest later». No, he didn’t. Then the second bbq dish came out and we were like«You have got to be effin kidding me. Did we just pay $ 33 for two measly strips of kalbi???» We all knew our meal was going to go downhill from there and it did. We waited for what seemed like an eternity, about 45 minutes to an hour, for our other dishes to come out and it didn’t even come out all at once. They came out in like 10 – 15 minute intervals. Those dishes were meh. I think I could have cooked them better. One of the dishes had more meat in it than the kalbi bbq we got, so sad. Needless to say, we didn’t clean up our plates and couldn’t wait to get out of there. This place is up there on my list of horrible restaurant experiences. I really wanted to love this place and support a local business but I hated it and will not be back. Sorry.

Great friendly service. Fresh food. The scallion pancake is big enough for two and very tasty. Lots of variety on the menu and delicious ban chan prior to the meal.

Waited over 90 minutes for food to be delivered. It was completely cold, very poor quality and overpriced. The taste was very bland. Will never order from here again!

Food arrived 45 after time given on Seamless, late and cold. Very paltry portions. Very very disappointed.

I had dinner last night with an old friend at Kalbi House. We both ordered seafood entrees from the Korean menu. The food and service were excellent. Everything was delicious and visually appealing. There are some pretty unusual things on the menu if you want to try something new, and plenty of choices for the less adventurous. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant and also street parking.

Nice setting. Service was great. Food was okay but probably wouldn’t return if looking for tasty flavorful Korean. I ordered a casserole and was told it’s meant for one person but two could have shared it without a problem. My husband ordered two rolls and they weren’t great. Main complaint is that this place is very pricey. $ 2.50 for a glass of coke and it’s no refills!

Don’t usually give 5 star reviews but Kalbi House is my go-to home style Korean food. Not only is the food delicious & authentic but their customer care is also outstanding. Anyway, every time I go with my boyfriend I always tell him that we will try something new… but we always end up getting our favorites: Kalbi BBQs and always kimchi chi gae casserole & seafood pancake to share. They definitely don’t skimp you out on the seafood like most places do because their pancakes are large and loaded with seafood. I know Korean BBQ isn’t cheap but every bite from the juicy marinaded beef to all the fresh side dishes it comes with is so worth it. Tonight I went by myself for a quick late dinner so I just had the Kalbi. I only wish I still lived closer so I can come more often.

People who wrote good reviews here must not be Korean and not know good Korean food. We came on a Saturday afternoon and ordered their galbi, seafood soup, and their fried dumpling. The fried dumplings were the best dish of the meal. But you can get equally good dumplings at the supermarket. We ordered 3 of the galbi here. This place is call Galbi house, so one would think they have to be good at galbi right? Wrong. The portion was so tiny at the price of $ 33 dollars each order. The galbi was cheap quality meat and marinated horribly. They should be ashame to call themselves galbi house really. The seafood soup was just whatever. Loaded with tons of msg Service was just OK. Overall, terrible food. People who enjoy here probably never had Korean barbecue in their life and don’t know any better. You are better off buying the premarinated meat from H Mart across the street and cook it at home yourself

Absolutely the WORST food(not just Korean, but all food) I have ever had. I am Korean so I wanted so badly for this place to be okay. My husband and I ate about 20% what we ordered. I have no idea how they even stay in business!!! Stay away from this place. The food tastes HORRIBLE and expensive too! You’re better off going to H-mart and buying Korean food and eating that at home.

I love Kalbi House. I eat here all the time. It’s a family owned restaurant and everyone’s very friendly. We usually order the more popular dishes like bulgogi, bimbimbap, kalbi, and dukboki — I suppose we’re not too adventurous, haha. They’re all very tasty and great for sharing. I tried the kimchi pancake tonight — daebak! :) A great neighborhood restaurant with a nice intimate setting.

They offered a complementary and large selection of Banchan, which has been fun to sample. The eel over rice and Korean barbecue were consistently superb. The size portion was perfect. Everything was reasonably priced. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. We can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I have been on a Groupon kick over the last few weeks and in turn have been winding up at all sorts of places we might normally not have tried. A few days back we went to Kalbi House with a $ 26 for $ 50 Groupon in hand. Reception was warm and the service was very pleasant. My favorite employee was the old grandpa looking dude serving everybody the wrong dish. Happened to us 2x and at least 3 other times at neighboring tables. What a sweet old geezer. We didnt want to get the table BBQ and terrorize the kids so we went with 2 entrees, the Yook Hwe which is shredded flank steak marinated in sesame oil and the Sam Chi Goyee which is broiled & salted mackerel. We also tried the shrimp tempora roll. We’ve had a ton of Korean food before and some really good Korean food at that. This stuff was just about average to below average. The steak was really overcooked and most pieces were on the rubbery side. Also, $ 27 for 7 small pieces of poorly cooked steak over onions? Highway robbery! The fish was perfectly cooked but was way too bland. We had to go to town with the salt and pepps to turn it all around. At least the complimentary side salads were nice. Oh yeah, the sushi was pretty good too! I have to mention the service speed which was agonizingly slow. There weren’t all that many people in the place but it still took over 40 minutes to get 2 entrees and a roll. Having sat down at 6pm we expected to be eating like savages within 10, 20 minutes. Forty plus minutes was waaay too long for my taste. In the end we didn’t have the greatest meal here but there were some bright spots and it was nice enough with the Groupon. Three stars.

Aimlessly drove around to get a feel for the surrounding areas when hunger struck! This place was close by, and although the exterior décor wasn’t the greatest, it felt really homey and welcoming. It was my friend’s first time having good Korean food– and he’s pretty picky! I ordered the kimchi jun gol I believe– kimchi with tripe and beef intestine. Side dishes were fresh and plentiful. He ordered a lamb soup/casserole When they served the cinnamon tea, my friend almost dipped his hands in it because he thought it was a small wash basin.
